Thursday, July 2, 2015. Since my summer break started the weather has been eh. Which has popped my dream bubble of days spent at the beach and pool. I'm hoping this month isn't as cloudy-n-rainy as the end of June was! I'm excited that in a few weeks I'm going to Panama City, Florida on vacation! I love the shore and it will be my 1st time visiting the Gulf Coast. My Independence Weekend will be filled with family and fireworks.as long as it doesn't rain! Another reason I want the weather to improve.

Thursday, May 7, 2015. Our butterfly bonanza began with this. Before watching the metamorphoses of a butterfly on You Tube. We spent a few days making these butterfly flip books. The Butterfly Flip Flap Book. Can be purchased at Simply Skilled in Second's TPT store.). The real fun began when these guys arrived. The students recorded the changes they went through in butterfly observation journals. As of today, 4 Painted Ladies have emerged from their chrysalises! May 8, 2015 at 12:25 AM. Fun in Room 4B.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Animal Adaptations Art Lesson. To do this craft you need a variety of images of animals. My students cut up old National Geographic magazines. Students can then choose different animal parts from the animal images to create a new animal. You can then have a class discussion about each of the animal's parts, their purpose, and how it helps each animal survive its environment.
