Sunday, May 25, 2014. Chess's Kindergarten End-of-Year Party. Mrs Troughton is the BEST teacher and we all love her so much! We are going to miss having her next year. She has taught Chess so much and loved her, as well. Her award was for giving the best"Warm-Your-Heart Hugs.". Lera had to jump up there and get a hug too! What a fun party! First Swim of the Year. Mimi and Poppy opened their new pool! We all went over and had our first swim of the season. It was freezing, but so fun! Cute stuff from Chess.

Monday, June 30, 2014. Utah Road Trip, Part Five: Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater. We arrived at Grand Canyon in the evening. We drove through the park to get to our hotel, so we stopped to have a quick look. Poor Chess wasn't feeling very good - she had an earache, but thankfully felt better the next morning. Friday, July 30, 2010. A long overdue update. Reece is our little man. He might be small, but he is super fast and packs a punch(not literally). Reece is a fan of anything truck. This includes construction equipment, tractors, airplanes, fire trucks, and trains. He loves playing with his Geotrax set and riding his tricycle. Kai was SO excited, I couldn't even get a picture of him with his "real" smile.see for yourself. :). This was a tradition in my family.to take a picture on your first day of school in front of the fireplace. And then come the poses!
