The Quest for Noms in a Faraway Land. April 10, 2013. Recently, MXW has gone up to Warwick to visit LX and we made cheesecake! Following (very, very roughly – due to LX not having a measuring cup of any sort, and our need to adjust the recipe due to…not researching before buying ingredients) a recipe from joyofbaking. The original recipe can be found here. Modified from joyofbaking.com). Makes about a 9-inch (our tin was 27.5 cm) cake. Use a springform pan! 1 tsp vanilla extract. 2 tablespoons plain flour.

Recently, I went to this restaurant in Edinburgh that apparently has the best jap food in the whole of Scotland (more on that to come later), and had their teriyaki salmon which left me craving for more.
