About the Three Sixty Five Project. The Three Sixty Five Project. 365 Pictures in 365 Days. July 18, 2012. This one is just silly. Now, as exhausting. As the past few weeks have been, Kimchi and I do still find the time to take cute pictures courtesy of Photo Booth. She’s such a squirmy and wiggly little thing, it’s tricky to get good pictures of her with my Canon. Ah well. This works for me :). Click to email (Opens in new window). About the Three Sixty Five Project. The Three Sixty Five Project. 365 Pictures in 365 Days. July 7, 2012. I’d never seen this particular color of lily before! I had to wake up early this morning to get the sun to light up the petals just so, and to avoid this record-breaking heat wave we’re having! Life in Ohio…. Click to email (Opens in new window). The Death-Proof Garden | You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! | Page 2
https://thedeathproofgarden.wordpress.com/page/2
You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. February 18, 2013. My husband knew not to buy me roses for Valentine’s Day, so he came home with these tulips instead. I love ’em. And then the flowers opened up two days later. February 7, 2013. Granted, this is winter so they wouldn’t be all gorgeous and blooming, but the leaves were turning black and crunchy way back in summer. Also, the canna lilies that are supposed to grow up to 4 feet tall never gained an in...Anyhoo,...

How can I despise the daffodil? | The Death-Proof Garden
https://thedeathproofgarden.wordpress.com/2013/02/18/how-can-i-despise-the-daffodil
You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. How can I despise the daffodil? February 18, 2013. Daffodils are curious little fellows. The daffodil bulbs hide in your garden all summer and fall, then, when everything else is dying in the backyard, their leaves start poking out of the soil in winter. However, what always irked me about daffodils was the hysterically short display of blooms in spring–at least, the ones in. The pots were placed in various spots around the ...

onions | The Death-Proof Garden
https://thedeathproofgarden.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/onions
You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. March 28, 2013. Today I decided to rip the onions out of the vegetable bed–mainly because I needed the room for the corn! These onions have been in the ground since last summer I think. I hope they’re okay to eat. One of them even put out a flower bud, which I’m sorry I won’t see bloom now. After the roots have been cut off:. From → Garden Commentary. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. What is this plant? | The Death-Proof Garden
https://thedeathproofgarden.wordpress.com/2013/03/02/what-is-this-plant
You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. What is this plant? March 2, 2013. Back in the fall, there was a plant sprouting up in my gladiolus pot. I didn’t know what it was, but I figured it would be pretty so I let it grow. I watered it whenever I watered my other plants. This picture is from October 2012:. The plant has fans, so it probably is an iris or gladiolus of some sort? A few days ago, the buds looked like this:. From → Garden Commentary. It is common flow...

Kale Unfettered | The Death-Proof Garden
https://thedeathproofgarden.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/kale-unfettered
You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. March 17, 2013. Well, I never cut the buds off. It just seems wrong somehow. So this is what happens to kale when you let it do whatever it wants. They make me think of funny aliens for some reason. Here are the flowers on the purple kale. I didn’t cut the flowers off because I wanted to see what they looked like, so the plant got ‘leggy.’. Here are the coleus flowers, which I think are pretty too. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

You're a killer and you know it. Change your destiny! Plants Not From My Garden. April 17, 2013. About the garden. So here goes. Recently, I took some nice photos of the roses I was deadheading. These were the first blooms of spring and there were A LOT of them. These were cut from 15 rose bushes. I know I’ve said that roses are pretty much weeds, but I must admit, they do have their moments. From → Garden Commentary. Best looking weeds I’ve seen in a while.
