How we grow.and where we go.as a family. Goingto the cottage: Fall Edition. One of my favorite places is the Snyder family cottage at Big Star Lake. It is a beautiful place where we can hang out with Matt's family and enjoy God's Creation. I love the late nights playing games, Grandma's cinnamon rolls, swimming in the lake, and of course, the boat parade on the Fourth of July! It was COLD (the Snuggie helped)! I am sure she will grow to love this place as much as her parents do. So, back to last night...

How we grow.and where we go.as a family. Growing.A Christmas Reflection. Last night, while I was feeding Ellie at 5 am, God reminded me of something very important. He LOVES me. All of these years I have been trying to be likeable for everyone else, but that whole time God has been crazy about me just as He created me. He has created each of us in His own unique way, and we can live our lives for Him best by being ourselves. For to us a child is born,. To us a son is given,. And he will be called. The Po...

How we grow.and where we go.as a family. The Tigers are Back! After a long off-season, the Tiger's are back! We look forward to the first regular season game next Tuesday! We also look forward to going to a game in April. We have been preparing here in GR! Later that night, Matt was not afraid to post them on the back of Ellie's door. This is the one place in her green and pink nursery I was willing to settle for posters! Now, Ellie can learn the players as she looks out from her crib! See, Chipotle star...

How we grow.and where we go.as a family. Now, the question is.what will she do next? Preparing for my shopping trip is a big event. That is why I only go about 2-3 times a month. It takes me about two hours to cut all of my coupons, look through the adds, and plan my list. I owe it to Catherine (and my mom! Where someone has already done half the work for me (thanks to Cat for this link)! I hope Ellie continues to enjoy shopping with me.now we just need to work on getting her Daddy wanting to join us!

Growing and Going: Ellie's Easter in Pictures
http://growingandgoing.blogspot.com/2010/04/ellies-easter-in-pictures.html
How we grow.and where we go.as a family. Ellie's Easter in Pictures. Daffodils bloomed in our backyard! An Easter basket from Grandma and Papa Snyder in Findlay, Ohio. I can't wait until we can tell Ellie all about the real meaning of Easter! Having fun on the deck in Plymouth. Ellie loved wearing Paul's sunglasses, but didn't participate in the "big kids" game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey (Nicklas was the winner)! What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus!
