Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Word of the Year. In my previous post, I didn't really mention goals or "resolutions". I typically don't do them.no need. It's not that I don't think I won't complete them (because there is a chance I won't) or don't think they are worthwhile.i just like to focus on my life as a whole. Not in year by year changes. I have a word for the year. I plan to live intentionally. In everything I do. Time with the kids? Make it intentional. Time at work? So there it is. That's my word.

Egypt - Cairo/Alexandria/Valley of the Kings/dive the Red Sea - Fall 2016. Greece/Turkey (hoping to combine this trip). Places we have been! Disney/Orlando - March 2013. Hawaii - February 2011. Paris/Chartres/Reims/Eparnay - March 2009. San Fransisco/Napa/Sonoma - Nov 2007/Oct 2008. Lake Tahoe - Oct 2008. Key West - too many times to count. :). Chicago - July 2008.

Wednesday, January 1, 2014. It's a New Year. I've found that I've not been the best with the blog lately but one thing I don't miss is my New Year's post. You can see 2012's HERE and 2013's HERE. I am really excited about this year. But first, before I talk about how awesome 2014 will be, I must sum up our 2013. First and foremost, WE ARE DEBT FREE! I would claim 2013 the year of RUNNING! Running a 5k, 2 10k's and a half marathon! Notable phrases of the year: "It's not fair mommy, Hmm (with pursed lips).

Markana and Chip chronicle their first parenthood adventure. January 21, 2013. Monday night turned into impromptu theater night at the Jordan house, as we enjoyed the rival of 2010's puppet theater. A few $4.99 IKEA puppets the soundtrack from "Tangled" = an extremely enjoyable lamb/horse duet. Please note the audience singing along with the face-to-face song climax. (pic #2) Believe it or not, it was more moving than the pictures illustrate. January 14, 2013. From January, 2013. This baby is almost 3!

I rescued Max and his sister Cleo when they were 6 weeks old, 12 years ago. He was the shyest little guy, quiet, timid, unlike Cleo who has always let her presence be known. Side note: Yes, we're ok. I know its been some time since we posted. We were preparing our house to sell, sold a house, looked for a new house, found a house, have since moved and our world ...Happy...
