So per usual, this is about 2 weeks late being posted. Yikes! This week Baby T is the size of an eggplant. I was very happy for an excuse to purchase eggplant because it means I get to make one of my favorite afternoon snacks- eggplant bruschetta (recipe here. Saturday, July 6, 2013. Our 4th of July was filled with everything that a good 4th of July should be filled with. We ate juicy watermelon, bratwursts, corn on the cob, and lemonade. It was all topped off with a homemade pie picnic out back with our new friends/neighbors. Not to mention the obligatory patriotic shirts. The night ended late with a little Kelly Clarkson concert (man does that girl have a set of pipes! And the best fireworks in Utah. We love this holiday and we love this country.

Monday, February 9, 2015. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! Long time no talk, dear blog. Since we last spoke. Justin passed his third actuarial competency exam and graduated with his degree in Actuarial Science. He also started a new job at Towers Watson in Downtown Denver. I left doTERRA (well almost, I will be working from home for 2 more weeks), applied for graduate school (heaven help me! Picked up two side jobs, and commenced a new training program for a bunch of races this summer. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!
