Yesterday, I went to see my endocrinologist in St. Cloud. After being so sick right after we brought the kids home with a thyroid "storm" and then burning out and told I was permanently hypothyroid, my labs are now normal and there are no nodules/goiter on my ultrasound! I am happy to be "unusual." ;-). Sunday, December 6, 2009.

It was funny, I looked over at a book by Tom Clancy that the guy in the next seat on the airplane was reading and this was the heading on that page! So true. We made it home Dec. 27 at 10 pm Our flights from Kiev to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Chicago were uneventful - finally some normal flights! Until then, stay warm!
