http://themonahanfam.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
From our house to yours. Saturday, September 11, 2010. First Day of School. So after a pancake breakfast (in the shape of a bear paw and bee if you can't tell- for Henry's "Bear" class and Drew's "Bee" class), the two hit the school yard this week. Henry is in T, Th preschool and Andrew goes on Thursdays. Andrew said he was not excited to go, but Henry (like any good older brother) convinced him that he was going to have fun. This is their conversation:. A: I am NOT going to have fun in the bee class.

Monday, April 27, 2009. Can you believe that tomorrow I will be 30 weeks pregnant! Talk about coming close. Since Valerie was born at 36 weeks and Ellie at 38, it is hitting me that this little one could be here in 6 weeks. We have so much to do, we haven't even started shopping yet although Derrick did get the crib and swing together this last week! Did you all have a nice weekend? Thursday and Friday were so beautiful, hitting 84 degrees and sunny! We took advantage of this Friday evening and ordered p...

Powells in Sicily!: July 2009
http://powellsinsicily.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2009. The craziness that is our life these days. No sooner than I had posted my last blog entry about how things were falling in to place, everything seemingly fell apart. Valerie, in particular, has been testing our limits to places I didn't think she would go for awhile. The lying has started, the tantrums at bed time, harrassing the cat (like tying ribbon "leashes" to the poor cat's collar and putting her in a box! And I just rolled over with a 'hrmph.' MEN! That is a deal consider...

http://powellsinsicily.blogspot.com/2009/08/random-musings.html
Friday, August 14, 2009. Here are a bunch of random thoughts and pictures to recap the last week or so. . Eleanor has been full of sass and a half lately. Yesterday I told her to please put my post-it notes back on my desk and she threw them down her shirt and said, "You'll NEVER find them now! Hahaha." and ran away giggling. man. Valerie never has said anything like that to me. It's a whole new world with this little pill! Look who's 6 weeks already! Do the girls watch Dora? August 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM.

Powells in Sicily!: December 2008
http://powellsinsicily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. I started this blog almost exactly a year ago! We started out 2008 by spending some snowy days up in Mt. Etna and enjoying our first Carnivale experience in Acireale! We got to see so many friends, go to several zoos, and spend lots of time with my parents. It definitely helped make the deployment go faster! Derrick returned back mid July and we even got to see his plane land on the runway! Garmich is a beautiful place. For that we are greatful. We are extremely glad to ...
