Thursday, May 30, 2013. 2013 Trip to Moab. I went on a trip to Moab with Logan May 16-19. It was a pretty amazing experience that I will not soon forget. Saturday, January 25, 2014. West Fork of Mink Creek Jan 2014. Alexis and I have been wanting to get away and do some snow shoeing. I was talking to Cory about it and he told me that he had shoes that we could borrow! I was so stoked. Grandma (Cindy) watched the kids for us, what a wonderful grandma. They had a blast. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Playing in the snow! Well it snowed last night and it is cold, but not as cold as it has been. We decided to suit up and give the snow a try. Mattix was not a fan but Vella has a good time. We couldn't get our snow to roll up into a ball very well, not quite warm enough. We made makeshift snowshoes/boots out of grocery bags. Mattix wouldn't keep his gloves on, probably a part of his misery. Momma and boy wonder with a huge snowball. You have to eat fresh snow. And I said what?

Saturday, December 22, 2012. I had our new little girl on the 17th! It was such an awesome experience. I wanted to record my thoughts while things are still fresh in my mind. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Yard and garden 2013. Here is what our yard looks like so far this summer. This is our front yard, we have a bleeding heart, some petunias and some snap dragons. The marigolds didn't do so well. This is our plum tree we planted two years ago. I accidentally mowed over it last year so it had to start over. Friday, January 2, 2015. 2015 Mountain Biking Goals. I have been working on a list of goals I wanted to achieve for 2015. Some of these involve mountain biking and I thought I would post them here to hold myself more accountable. 1) Enter and compete in a Mountain Biking Race. 2) Ride over 1000 trail miles. 3) Climb over 200,000 feet elevation. 4) Take my wife up City Creek. 2014 biking statistics according to Strava. 84:05:44 total riding time. 711 mi/hr average riding speed. 81,686 ft total elevation.
