Quirky tales from our quirky life. Saturday, June 4, 2011. We] like to move it, move it. Well, it is officially official. We have known about this for a while, but with the good old military things can change, so we haven’t said too much in the electronic world. But we are 99.9% certain we are moving to…. Can you tell that we have been missing the Mexican food? We’ll be leaving here around the middle of July to spend 4 months in San Antonio for training before heading to…. Home to John R. Brinkley. He ha...

http://swellmaison.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Quirky tales from our quirky life. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. I just wanted to post this really quick before running out the door, but last week H decided to roll over! He has been sooo close for so long, but he finally figured out how to do it, and now we can’t get him to spend any time on his tummy. He just flops right over onto his back. Please ignore my weird voice. Well, it sounds weird to me at least. Let’s hope this works. First time attempting video online. Ever. I’m so 2008. Links to this post.

Quirky tales from our quirky life. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Don't Buy This. Ever. And that, my friends, is where we went wrong. As of his last appointment nearly a month ago, Holland just now weighs 28.9 lb, putting him in the 89th percentile for his age. He is also 34.5" tall- the 98th percentile. It's not going to happen. The Snugride 35 is not just heavy. It's also W-I-D-E! Remember before your baby arrived and you would go out to eat with your friends? You can still do that with a baby (whew! We have e...

Swell Maison: Favorite Baby Products: Worth The Splurge

Quirky tales from our quirky life. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Favorite Baby Products: Worth The Splurge. I'm not sure what it is, but there is something about seeing 2 lines on that little pee stick that turns normal, rational women into crazed, research addicted, know-it-all, hormonal blobs of mush. I'm pretty sure I was at some point not even showing, but somehow convinced that I knew the answers to absolutely all the baby product related questions you could think of. Up jumping = not going back to sleep.

Swell Maison: January 2012
http://swellmaison.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Quirky tales from our quirky life. Friday, January 13, 2012. We spent this year in Houston with The Dude side of the family and it was a great time just being together and getting to see everyone. We are on all sides of the country, so it was good to have everyone in one place at the same time. Holland even got to have a birthday party with all of his cousins while we were gone! Happy birthday, buddy! If I can just fit a little more cake in there.". Licking the plate after the cake was gone. As far as hi...

http://catchingupwiththecooks.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Conquering Indecision.or Rekindling Inspiration. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. There's no place like home. Goodness gracious, this half of the year has been one big blur. After spending a month in Oklahoma while Justin finished training out there, we are finally home to stay for a little while. That is, until Justin takes another trip to the desert, but this upcoming one will be only 45 days and he will be back just in time to attend his sister's wedding! Links to this post. Conquering Indecision.or Rekindling Inspiration. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Insanity and other frivolous matters. Subject: These are the facts of the case. And they are undisputed. Happy Birthday to your man! Now onto my real reason for writing. The facts. 1 It is currently 6:38 am, and I am awake. 2 I actually woke up at 6:12. (I think. That one might be disputed.). 3 I was up until 12:15 ish. 4 I was up until 12:15 after endless hours of searching for the perfect bedding. 5 There are waaaaaaay. 8 Som...

Conquering Indecision...or Rekindling Inspiration: A birth story
http://catchingupwiththecooks.blogspot.com/2012/06/birth-story.html
Conquering Indecision.or Rekindling Inspiration. Friday, June 29, 2012. For those of you who like to read about these kinds of things. Sometime around 3:30 pm I decided that natural childbirth was not for me. At least this time around. That was shortly after arriving at the hospital and learning I was 6 cm dilated, an hour and a half after I lost my lunch and contractions started coming every three minutes. I was not able to breathe through them like I had thought I should be able to. A new little love.

Quirky tales from our quirky life. Friday, September 14, 2012. Show Us Your Life: Favorite Beauty Products. It has really been forever and at least one day since I last posted, and seeing as I am severely lacking in the creative juices department right now, I thought I would try to ease back into posting with a link up to Kelly's Show Us Your Life. Essie Geranium- it's a great slightly orange-red for summer. Not too vibrant, but a little bit tropical. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Show ...
