At Mattel, I had the honor of working on two iconic American toy brands: Matchbox and Tyco R/C. There’s great appeal to me for marketing products or services that bring such happiness to the consumer. There are lots of joyous birthdays and Christmas mornings because of Matchbox and Tyco R/C products. E-3 Product Launch Event. In 2007, Olympus was about to introduce the E-3 DSLR, Olympus’ first professional level camera in four years. To properly launch this product, we needed an event that would motivate our national dealers to travel to Toronto and get up close and personal with the E-3. Adding to the day was the appearance of three Toronto Blue Jays, as well as a dinner presentation by Maurice Henri, who spoke of his charity. Which uses photography as therapy in war-torn Sierra Leone.
