Tuesday, January 20, 2009. This past Saturday, some ladies in the neighborhood and I hosted a baby shower for Sarah! It was a lot of fun having everyone get together to celebrate baby girl Pohlman! We are all looking forward to meeting her in March. I enjoyed seeing and catching up with everyone, and of course eating all of the yummy treats! Marianne, Misty, Sarah, Me, and Melissa. Sweet Pea banner Melissa made! Mille making sure that Miss Sarah opens her gift! I was the lead car and had a blast!

Wednesday, September 17, 2008. This past weekend was the Clemson / NC State football game and we had a house divided! Brent and I even got the dogs involved for the in-house rivalry! Saturday, January 30, 2010. After spending five days in 80 degree weather in Mexico, we get hit with snow and ice. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the backyard and on their walk today. Millie likes to stop and eat the snow, while Sam trots on and pratically walks me! Sam was staring down the ducks in the pond. Millie keeping warm during the storm! Sunday, March 1, 2009. After several inadequate attempts to predict snow in the Charlotte area, the weatherman finally got it right! Sam and Millie experienced snow for the first time! Sam was intriqued as soon as he saw the snow begin to fall. He went to the back door to watch the snow fall and then went to the dining room window to see if the snow was falling out front too! We had a great time. Millie ready for SNOW! Recchi came out to see what all the fuss was about! Millie wanted back in the house!

We kicked off 2010 with a trip to Mexico as a reward from my company! Senor Frogs in Playa del Carmen. Brent on the beach. It was really windy out!

Friday, August 21, 2009. Jimmy Buffett and Queens Cup! We started off the summer by attending the Queen's Cup Horse Race and the Jimmy Buffett concert. Both events were filled with good friends, drinks, and lots of laughs! The weather for the Jimmy Buffett concert was absolutely perfect and admiring all of the crazy tailgates was entertaining to say the least. We were fortunate for the Queen's Cup, to sit at a table two rows behind the track and right across from the finish line! B and E at the races!

Sunday, November 16, 2008. We stay pretty busy during football season! Clemson did not play very well and we were surrounded by very loud, rude, and intoxicated BAMA fans! Over the past few weeks, we have been to another Clemson away game, to Duke for a game, and of course back to Raleigh. As you all know, Brent loves to cook! We always get to the parking lot early to enjoy drinks, music, corn-hole, and of course, the food! We won a cooler, $50 gift card, recipes, cooking utensils, and many more items!
