My journey from Beijing to Paris
Moscow meteo | Louise's Blog
https://thetrackback.wordpress.com/2010/10/13/moscow-meteo
My journey from Beijing to Paris. On the trail of the lonesome juniper tree. October 13, 2010. We were introduced to the Moscow metro by our guide, Irina, who was bundled in a warm coat. I asked her how foreigners could learn to use the metro as the signage was scant and impenetrable at first glance. ‘No, I think for foreigners it is impossible’ she said. And without a metro map (rare as hens’ teeth) it seems it. Sent from my travels. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. October 13, 2010 at 4:50 pm.

It really is frustrating to type on this little screen for ages only for the whole thing to disappear in a puff of bytes. Posting by email now so no pics but with luck it will ‘stick’. Plus felt awful but now somewhat better. Having agonised over the train timetable I’m not going to go to Kashgar after all, it&...

My journey from Beijing to Paris. Newer posts →. September 21, 2010. Travel Services, who were closed for lunch. Trekked opposite to an ‘upscale’ tea house where I had a hilarious exchange with the waitress trying to order. Ended up with green tea and vegetarian stir fried rice with only a Spanish amount of ham and shrimp in it, and little green filled pasties. Travel service then helped out booking a train ticket for tonight – soft sleeper bottom bunk, all good! Must go for this train! September 21, 2010.

The Track and Off It. My journeys across the world and tips for yours. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monday Highlight – Mongoose Crossway 200. June 2, 2015. I’ve been borrowing a bike since my arrival in Melbourne which has been great for my pocket and not a bad for pootling around some of the trails in Hawthorn and Kew.
