Adventure Is Out There. Monday, August 27, 2012. We discovered this trail when we were camping in Whiting Campground, which is in Maple Canyon, 2 miles or so from Mapleton, Utah. It was a super fun trail that crosses the stream up there several times. We were disappointed that we didn't make it to the top but it was just too long of a hike to complete in the time that we had.
