A field recording project. A trip to the southern part of Kraków known as Płaszów (read: “Pwa-shoof”). First I had to climb the famous Krakus Mound. As it was almost completely destroyed by its creators in 1945, today it is an uninhabited area, with only a few remaining (historical) structures left and a peculiar eeriness to it. For the first recording site I chose a spot near to a spectacular cliff, but wasn’t satisfied with the results, mostly because of the wind. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window).

A field recording project. Rain… and after the rain. Two newly restored recordings from my archives (as I don’t have anything new to share at the moment). First off, a rather pleasant recording of summer storm made from my bedroom window almost a year ago. Sounds like these never get old. The same night, just after the rain. Heavy raindrops falling down from tree’s crowns on a metal roof. The smell of still, wet darkness. Impatient barking somewhere in the distance. Recorded 06.08.2012.
