My 2013 in Q&A | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/01/my-2013-in-q.html
Saturday, January 4, 2014. My 2013 in Q&A. Same year-ender Q&A I've been accomplishing since 2007. I deleted a lot of questions, just because. Haha. View last year's answers here. What did you do in 2013 that you’ve never done before? Believe me, I have a long list of firsts in 2013, but maybe this one's the most significant: try sportswriting. And get published in an online magazine. I especially enjoyed covering and writing about Fastbreak 2,. What countries did you visit? This 2014. Hahaha! Somehow co...

Baby it's a new day | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/10/baby-its-new-day.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. Baby it's a new day. I used to take LOTS of photos. I always had my camera with me to document every moment no matter how mundane. I was that annoying friend who would take a selfie with each of her companions whenever they're hanging out. How I miss those times when my life was so well-documented! I feel like one of these days, I would regret not exerting efforts to better keep my memories especially in the last five years or ever since I graduated from JVP. 4) FOLLOW ME, PLEAS...

My 2014 in Q&A | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/12/my-2014-in-q.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. My 2014 in Q&A. Same year-ender Q&A I've been accomplishing since 2007. View last year's answers here. What did you do in 2014 that you’ve never done before? One, I started writing for a basketball blog/website called Humblebola. I was only supposed to cover the Ateneo Blue Eagles, but I was also given the opportunity to cover my favorite PBA team, Rain or Shine. If you have time to spare, please show some love by reading my articles. Two, I rode a habal-habal. And the shop ...

Better years ahead | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/06/cheers-to-better-years.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Around this time last year, I was traveling solo somewhere in the Visayas, hoping to resolve some personal issues while at it. Because that's what I do when I'm confused or when I need to clear my head (and heart). I travel on my own. I turned 27 last June 16th, and I can say that I'm in a way better position in life right now compared to last year. Or the year before that. I won't go into details anymore because. why should I, right? Simple birthday dinner at Casa Marcos. TFM R...

Much love for Paul Lee | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/07/much-love-for-paul-lee.html
Friday, July 11, 2014. Much love for Paul Lee. The loss to San Mig Super Coffee Mixers two conferences ago is still fresh in my memory - the partial walkout, the crowd booing my team, the balloons that fell for San Mig's second championship in a row. I'm not exactly sure why, but it hurt a lot more then than when Rain or Shine lost again last Wednesday. 10084; (Photo Source: Interaksyon.com. Awesome January | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2015/02/awesome-january.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. I may have career-related issues, but life outside of work has been so much fun, so I've got that going for me which is really awesome. If January was any indication of how my year will be, then I guess I'm best friends with 2015 already. Haha. Last month was eventful basically because of two things: HS friends and travels. I was a stranger in the place anyway. Haha. It was exhausting and my body ached the whole week, but those were incredibly fun times. From Mountains to Seas.

One of the worst heartbreaks ever | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/09/one-of-worst-heartbreaks-ever.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2014. One of the worst heartbreaks ever. Hugs, Paul Lee. (Photo Credit: FIBA. The game between the Philippines and Puerto Rico ended roughly three hours ago. Which means I've spent three hours just sitting here on the couch, staring at my Tweetdeck, drinking beer, and dealing with this heartbreak. We could've won the match. It was ours. I woke up this morning feeling really good because I was looking forward to our first ever victory in this year's FIBA World Cup. It wouldn't hurt...

TFM Review: To each his own dream | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2015/02/to-each-his-own-dream.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2015. TFM Review: To each his own dream. This review originally appeared on Theater Fans in Manila. What would you do if you won $96,000 in the lottery? Would you go back to your hometown, get a college degree, start your own business, or live someplace else? The characters of In the Heights, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, tried to answer this question, and unsurprisingly, no two persons offered the same response. To each his own dream. Welcome to Washington Heights! This review ori...

Five Days of Happiness (Day 2) | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/09/five-days-of-happiness-day-2.html
Sunday, September 21, 2014. Five Days of Happiness (Day 2). I know it's no longer Day 2 technically, but whatever. Haha. 1 Paul Lee finally signs a two-year deal with Rain or Shine. For weeks to hear from him, and it got a little too frustrating when he was still unreachable after their FIBA stint in Spain. It did not help that his annoying agent Lawrence Chongson won't shut up. I just wanted him to come up with the decision on his own because I really don't trust Chongson. 2) Link me in your blog/website.

Five Days of Happiness (Day 1) | The Charmed Spirit
http://www.charmieness.com/2014/09/five-days-of-happiness-day-1.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Five Days of Happiness (Day 1). Apparently, there are many "challenges" circulating around Facebook, and friends have been tagging me in some of their posts. Since I've long given up posting anything on Facebook, I will try to respond here on my blog instead. Five Days of Happiness. Challenge (tagged by Kyxz), I will share three things that make me happy for five straight days. I say, blogging for five straight days is a challenge in itself. Haha. My good friend Cherie prom...
