Traveling Duo
Tuesday, June 19, 2007. We followed the Paul Bunyan Trail for the first part of our last day. Of course we needed to stop to visit Paul a bit. Finally the day arrived and we reached Lake Itasca State Park. Pat and I rode the last few miles to the headwaters of the Mississippi. I needed to cross the river one more time. This time in bare feet walking on the rocks. Most important we have taken away wonderful memories that we will treasure forever. Posted by Traveling Duo @ 3:39 PM. Friday, June 15, 2007.

Eagles South of the Border
Eagles South of the Border. Saturday, July 19, 2008. Welcome to the Jungle. After Chichen Itza, we went to the gulf side for a night in Campeche then on to Palenque for some of the most impressive ruins we saw. For the structures themselves, but also for the surroundings. The rolling hills of the highland jungles were breathtaking. The carvings on some of the buildings were quite impressive and meaningful. Still don't know what the T was for tho. Ahhh, the day in the jungle made the next day all the swee...

The Musings of Matt
The Musings of Matt. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:11-13. Friday, July 10, 2009. Congressman Rohrabacher Speech on Global Warming: May 14, 2008. I only wish I had seen and heard of this earlier! I would hope tha...

Sunday, March 13, 2011. I found a little spot all my own. I found a place, the search is over! Tuesday, February 15, 2011. We thank our stars we are alive and loved. A month and a half! Last night, well Linda (my housemate/aunt/benefactor) has told me to not tell many people, but last night I witnessed a shooting. I had a moment of, 'is this for real? So in hindsight as I write this long catch up, I've got goals, and I've got a lot to do, so I better get to it. Sorry this is so random! And I am. I've...
