Sunday, July 6, 2008. 4th of July Fun. We are desperately trying to take a fun picture in the backyard with the dogs.it did not work too well. I guess there is a reason this is difficult. This is right before our little 4th of July BBQ which was so much fun. The kids had a great time with the sparklers and of course, Addie! I like the new look on the blog! July 15, 2008 at 11:22 PM. Did you guys have a great 4th of July? July 19, 2008 at 12:58 PM. I hope you are having a great summer! 4th of July Fun.

The Southers: February 2008
http://thesouthers.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 6, 2008. New Year's Eve Photos. These are some pics of our great trip home again at Christmas. We stayed with my family and then went to Santa Fe for New Year's with Tappan's parents. We stayed at the Inn and Spa at Loretto thanks to my family's referrals. It was so beautiful but cold! We rang in the New Year in the hotel lobby sipping wine and listening to an acoustic guitar player. Very very Santa Fe.:). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Farmington, New Mexico, United States.

The Southers: May 2008
http://thesouthers.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2008. We got a new puppy last weekend and we named him Sherman Marshall Souther! He is quite a crazy little thing. He is about 9 weeks old and so puppy brained! One second he is clumsily tripping over his paws, the next he is bounding through the house and pouncing on anything that catches his eye. What a cutie! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Southers: We moved!
http://thesouthers.blogspot.com/2008/12/we-moved.html
Wednesday, December 3, 2008. The dogs in our backyard. The front of our house. The doggies on their new beds. Sherman in his favorite place- on the stairs! Tappan is working as a production engineer at Conoco Phillips and he is enjoying his job as well. We bought a house about 1 block from my parents. It is a cute little 2 story adobe house with an amazing backyard! Our inlaws fondly refer to him as Little Hitler. In all seriousness, he is such a cute dog that has brought me a lot of laughter and joy!

A Perfect Pair: America's Birthday! So glad we're still free!
http://texas-mama.blogspot.com/2009/07/americas-birthday-so-glad-were-still.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. So glad we're still free! Once it got darker, the kids were throwing those little pop-its. Not really fireworks, but good enough for them. They don't know any different, and it made a loud noise without fire! I can't believe I don't have any pictures of this.but Carrie's parents had bought a ton of fireworks. It's illegal in Texas to shoot fireworks in a neighborhood, but what did they care? Carrie's mom was telling Carrie's dad, "Light this, shoot off that! The kids also got to ...

A Perfect Pair: June- low key...sort of!
http://texas-mama.blogspot.com/2009/07/june-low-keysort-of.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. June- low key.sort of! The best thing is that now she's a swimmer. I wouldn't go off and leave her totally unattended, but I don't have to be in the water. She can swim around and even dive for sticks! She was learning to kick her legs with more strength. Grace had swim lessons at Ms. Leslie's house for 2 weeks. These were so much better than the city lessons. She took with these other 4 kids, and really learned to swim this year! Me and how I'm going to look in 40 years! Sweet ...

The Fab Four: I Have Survived...
http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-have-survived.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Christmas festivities, parties, celebrations, travels, shopping, baking, wrapping, rehearsals, performances, and fun with four kids. The stress that my husband places on himself and feels from about the 1st of November to the end of Christmas. The first of four birthdays, four months in a row. A husband who's so sick he spends six days in bed and loses 20 lb. in one week. A couple of sick kids who decided the week we were travelling would be the perfect time to get sick. Browni...

The Fab Four: "Labor" Day
http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/labor-day.html
Monday, September 6, 2010. While mowing the yard, Lou decided he needed help from a 21 month old. So he picked the cutest one EVER. And they finished up the yard together. And, of course, they had to stop and pose for pictures for Mommy. And cheer on Daddy on as he works hard. And help Daddy pick up sticks in the yard so they won't run over them with the lawn mower. The Fab Four: In the Thick of It
http://ellerbrookfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-thick-of-it.html
Monday, October 4, 2010. In the Thick of It. And so, we are in the middle of it. Middle of school. Middle of soccer season. Middle of dance classes. Middle of softball season. Middle of Bible studies. Middle of Kid's Club (our weekly kid's after-school program). Middle of Life. And while Life is not slowing down for us anytime soon.I am enjoying watching my kids do the things they enjoy. School started and we hit the ground running. We are definitely in the thick of it.
