Wilfred was born in Holmer in 1887 but became a tile worker at Whitestone near Bartestree. At one point he served as a Domestic Groom. His father James Bowen was a cider maker. In the 1891 census Wilfred was 4 years of age and living at Burghill. Edward was 31 years of age when he was killed. Guy was born to Sir Edward and Lady Hopton 28 th. November 1881 in Eaton Bishop, Herefordshire England. He was the elder son. Brother of Diana C.
