The Road to Maplehearst

The Road to Maplehearst. Making a historical house into our home. Monday, July 13, 2015. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Wow the last few weeks have gone by so quickly! You can really start to see things beginning to take shape! We've been busy with meetings, framing, plumbing, mowing, mowing and mowing. Here are some pictures on the progress! This will be the coat closet when you walk in. There's a old door in the picture that we will use as the door to the closet! Baths are my favorite!

The Road to Maplehearst: November 2014

http://www.thetroendles.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

The Road to Maplehearst. Making a historical house into our home. Sunday, November 16, 2014. Anyone who knows any of you knows that this is true! One huge bonus with moving to this house is how close we will be to Morgan's parents. We love spending time with family and it will be so nice to be so close! Having great neighbors is a huge blessing when living in the country and we are very lucky to know some of those folks already! We have big dreams for this house! We are so excited to see what He has in-s...

The Road to Maplehearst. Making a historical house into our home. Thursday, December 20, 2012. The first few weeks home were full of highs and lows. Every new mom goes through them but I didn't realize the roller coaster my emotions would be going on. Thank goodness for my so very patient husband and my extremely helpful mom! I can't imagine having to do that all alone! I was a little freaked out to say the least. Luckily I began to feel better soon after and we survived! Kaytlyn and Joan came to visit!

The Road to Maplehearst: Introducing...Brodyn Jasper

http://www.thetroendles.blogspot.com/2012/12/introducingbrodyn-jasper.html

The Road to Maplehearst. Making a historical house into our home. Thursday, December 20, 2012. On October 21st our lives changed forever. We went from a happy family of two (plus a dog) to being the proud parents of a beautiful, healthy, 9.9 lb baby boy! The day was full of surprises, one being going into labor a day before I was to be induced. This little guy was just a bit too comfy in there and I was certain that he was going to stay put until we went in on Monday, October 22nd. Many people ask us whe...

The Road to Maplehearst. Making a historical house into our home. Friday, October 7, 2011. It's probably about time that I catch up on my posts.I wish I could say that I've been really busy and have had no time, but that would be a lie. While we have been busy these past few weeks most of my laziness is just not wanting to download pics. So here we go! On August 15th, Morgan and I celebrated our two year anniversary! It is on a golf course that runs along a river (not sure which one.the cedar? Berkley an...

Living Life Leah: June 2012

http://lle07.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Saturday, June 9, 2012. I've talked about Needtobreathe before here on the bloggy, but I don't know if I've stressed how much I love this band! Back in March I had the opportunity to attend another one of their concerts (remember, I saw them when they opened for Taylor Swift. I will have to say, I was a little concerned about how the concert was going to go when a gentleman sat down beside me for the opening act chewing tobacco and not. Picking up where I left off.

Living Life Leah: September 2013

http://lle07.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Long time no post, as always I'm afraid. After a great summer, I'm back into the swing of school and coming up on Homecoming week, which mean's I am crazy busy. So, I figured just for memories sake, I would document some of my favorite things I did this summer! Lots of days reading and laying out at the pool. Plenty of Netflix watching. A long weekend in the Quad Cities with friends. Running the Sturgis 5K. A visit from my sister. Simpl...

http://lle07.blogspot.com/2015/06/hey-remember-me-recap-of-past-year.html

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Thursday, June 4, 2015. A recap of the past year since I've been gone. It has been too long since I've written a post. In fact, I'm about 1 week shy of it being a year. One of my goals for this summer is to post more often, especially since I'm sure we will be working on various house projects and wedding planning (what? More on that one later). So, before we do that, lets recap the last year shall we? Back to school for me! September and October 2014. Settling in...

http://lle07.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. DIY: 4th of July Wreath. First thing I always do is look to Pinterest for inspiration. I loved these fun wreaths:. After looking around, I decided to take direction from all of these, but make them a little more my style. So first I hit up Hobby Lobby for the supplies. I always buy extra with the intention of returning things. In the past I didn't, and I ran out of a certain kind of flowers and they were out at Hobby Lobby.

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Monday, December 31, 2012. Here we go…. January started with me beginning student teaching instead of going to typical classes at UNI. I started my first placement in Janesville at the high school level. I loved every minute of the time I spent there and had a great cooperating teacher that I learned a lot from. Ready to go clean off our cars! My Kiddos from Peet! Happy graduation to me! I graduated from UNI on May 5. And it was a great day! Of the month and spent...

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Living Life Leah Lately. Wow it has been entirely too long since I posted. Life got hectic there for a while between student teaching and finishing my teacher work sample, but it seems to have slowed down some and I'm finding that I'm enjoying this pace. Note: this post is wordy, so if you don't have time come back later! My first placement ended March 2nd and I got a week off to work on my TWS and then another week for spring break. March ...

These are the Things I Want to Remember. Sunday, February 23, 2014. For Christmas, Denton got me tickets to the Avett Brothers concert at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis. Wednesday, 8 December 2010. As far as four band bills go, this Thursday at The Deaf Institute is going to take alot of beating. First of all the headliner Ty Segall. Is finally back in the UK; for some reason he didn’t play last year when he was supposed to, probably got busted or something. If you like San Francisco at the moment then Ty Segall is for you. The other three are probably the three best bands in Manchester; Milk Maid. Thursday, 4 November 2010. Some pics of the picks of the bunch here:.
