Pinot Tour Day 1 – Minneapolis (day off). June 22, 2010. So onto Day 1! I left the studio around 5:15 in the morning after laying down 2 already written tunes, and one that is in the works and was being created while in the studio. Let me tell you people…Pinot is no joke, and they are coming for your first born. He won’t be disappointed and neither will anyone else that makes it out to the show. We are ready to get the funk down! Look out Minneapolis, we are here and ready to blow the roof off of Honey.

This was when I started my career in music. I chose IPR over many other schools for various different reasons, 24/7 studio access was one of the main one. Then, in a flash, it was all over and now here I am. I am an up and coming audio engineer, producer, and live sound guy who is a graduate of the Institute of Production and Recording (IPR) in Minneapolis, MN. Pinot Tour Day 4 – Madison, WI. June 25, 2010. Holy macaroni was last night ridonkulous! Apparently we were playing until 11pm, so getting there at 7pm for the supposed load-in was only good to get our barrings, which was much needed as well. Seeing the crowd was super energizing to me, because it was like no crowd I had ever been in front of (or behind, however you want to place the soundboard) 😉. 8221; No one was expecting funk bombs to be dropped on Madtown last night, but they were, and they hit hard.

Friday, June 25, 2010. Pinot Tour Blog #2. On Monday morning we left Lincoln, NE and made it to Minneapolis around 6:00. We had a little basketball match at Schroedes' house and then headed over to IPR for a recording session with our sound engineer, Troy Watson (who also has a blog: http:/ thetroywatson.wordpress.com.
