Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Melanie - 1 year! We are officially weaned! The last month we have only been doing bedtime nursing (which was very short) so I could tell she was ready. Melanie went to bed last night with absolutely no problem and slept all night. Now I can actually leave in the evenings if I want to (or even go on a vacation *GASP*) without needing to be home to nurse that sweet baby before bed. Chompin on some peas and noodles. And there was much rejoicing. So what do you give a baby who has. But wants to feed herself? Make sure you choose a soft one.
