Saturday, April 25, 2009. The weekend of April 17-19 was the annual homeshow. This year we had to wow the crowd so we threw out a Hail Mary for business and had a lot of displays. Three are going in my house someday, and 3 were just other displays for our shop. Here's the whole booth. Monday, August 2, 2010. Ever since we moved into this house last year, it's been nothing but trouble. A mousetrap turned upside down, with a sprawling dead mouse laying underneath it. I called Ben at work and he came home right away to dispose of the corpse (I am no longer brave). After throwing it away, he comes back inside and says, "At least he had a good last meal.". He skipped ahead a few chapters and he started reading a section aloud that said something like, "Are you having very vivid dreams lately? Do you remember your dreams more when you wake up? I couldn't have tolerated looking at him with crooked or discolored teeth everyday for the rest of forever. It would have grated on me like sandpaper until it became a matter of marital contention. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Update on Baby Names. I've always had a first name picked out before our babies were born. I can't seem to understand how people can see their baby for the first time and see what it looks like in order to name it. That could never work for me! Isn't that a sign? Thursday, June 25, 2009. After what seemed like a plague of bad fortune, it seems Heavenly Father has finally decided we had had enough and he has poured down some blessings on us. First, we're pretty healthy (well, until Kiersa came down sick yesterday, but it isn't too serious). It was something close to $7,000 that we owed them (after the insurance companies had paid), and now the bill is $375. Talk about a load off our backs! Friday, June 19, 2009. El Chunko, the sequel. Paisli has broken Kiersa's chunky record! At 4 months, Kiersa was 15 pounds, 5 ounces. Paisli, on the other hand, at her 4 month check up yesterday was 15 pounds, 12 ounces! Note the lack of arm chub). Talea at 2 months. Hyatt at 3 months. Kiersa at 1 month (this chub is strictly from breastmilk.no formula introduced yet). And Kiersa at 8 months. Paisli at 3 months. How they are so different is a mystery to me.
