If I thought that Chapter 3 had been produced in super-fast time, then Chapter 4 has smashed it right out of the park! Here it is. Ive certainly rushed the pages out and I think it adds a certain urgency to the mood. which is exactly what the story needs at this point. Theres only one more chapter to go. I really hope that I can pull off the ending. Well just have to wait and see! Chapter 2 - El Malparido.

In previous updates Ive showed you how I cut the wood. And how I started gluing the various bits together. When we last spoke, Id got as far as sticking the top and bottom to the sides. A lots happened since then; Ive only gone and finished! Well, I think that I have. Heres the final update. Uke Fest GB 2014.

Music and Electronic Projects. If you follow this website, you know that my Travel Ukulele plans. Are popular. This ukulele is a variation of that design. Because I took out the pickup, I decided to add a thin piece of wood to the back to help out with the resonance. I stamped my last name into the back. The main wood is maple and the back piece is basswood. Even after applying a few coats of Tru-Oil and adding strings, this ukulele weighs just 11 ounces. To follow along with the journey. I decided to make the instrument a tenor ukulele. The outline of the body is a aluminum rod. The heaphone amp is powered by a 9 volt battery. The battery is housed in a little compartment on the back. The body is basswood, the neck is maple and the fretboard is rosewood. The output jack is is attached to a strat style jack plate.
