Wednesday, October 8, 2014. A Katy Perry Song. I talked a big game last night at 9:15 about watching an episode of Game of Thrones. Wow," Dan said, "are you up for it? I said, "I'm in! So, we started the show. I remembered some of the characters (winning! Nobody was beheaded or uncomfortably nude within the first five minutes (miracle! And then, the familiar drooping of the eyelids set in. I knew this would happen," Dan said, pausing the show. What a shock," Dan deadpanned. Ive got this syndrome as well.

Word Savvy: Book Lists!
http://www.wordsavvyblog.com/p/book-lists.html
My birthmother left me a message the other day. She said, "I loved the holiday book guide. And I totally used it, but what you should really do is just compile all the books you've reviewed ever into one spot.". I probably SHOULD do that, but it would take about a million years. Instead, here's a handy clickable list of the annual book review posts. And remember, I review as I go on Twitter. I also blurb my current stack in my weekly(ish)/monthly(ish) newsletter. So, there are options. I love the list!

Word Savvy: Sankalpa: Open-Hearted to Opposition
http://www.wordsavvyblog.com/2017/01/sankalpa-open-hearted-to-opposition.html
Thursday, January 5, 2017. Sankalpa: Open-Hearted to Opposition. All, right - it's been a few days since I started my, "I am open-hearted" Sankalpa. It's going fine in that several times per day, I tell myself, "I am open-hearted." I've been doing this in tense moments, especially, and I think the intentionality helps me maintain my stance. Let's hope. I'm expecting more tense moments today, as kids are going to start using glue guns for a project. That will make me suffer. January 5, 2017 at 7:28 AM.

Word Savvy: WLD #3
http://www.wordsavvyblog.com/2014/12/wld-3.html
Thursday, December 4, 2014. The other day, Shef casually asked, "Do we have plans to repaint the upstairs hallway before we move? I replied, narrowing my eyes. Oh," he says, "I just noticed some marks on the wall up there.". The boys have been playing knee hockey in the long hallway. I've been pleased about this because it keeps them busy while playing together without electronics; and it takes a long time for the crying, shrieking, and blaming to start. Well," I said, "we might repaint it, I guess.".
