The Uncommon Man: June 2005

The rights of the Uncommon Man must always be respected - A personal, sometimes Libertarian view on the world with a twist of Taoism, Buddhism and Reason. Friday, June 10, 2005. Apple moves to Intel - a wedge in the Great Wall. Forgive me while I become a tech-head. I think Stevie Jobs has a great opportunity. Where am I going with this? Well, I think it may be an excellent way to allow all those WINTeL clockers, hackers and slackers to take a good long sneaky look at OSX on their beige towers using pira...

The rights of the Uncommon Man must always be respected - A personal, sometimes Libertarian view on the world with a twist of Taoism, Buddhism and Reason. Monday, October 04, 2004. An out-of-hours GP surgery is to close as it is 'uneconomic' for the Health Trust. Has the Health Trust considered if "in-hours" only GP surgeries are economic for the country? Of course, the Health Trust does not 'get' the saving, but then again why does it need to care about who pays for the Health Trust?

The Uncommon Man: George Galloway bitch-slaps the Senate Committee

http://theuncommonman.blogspot.com/2005/05/george-galloway-bitch-slaps-senate.html

The rights of the Uncommon Man must always be respected - A personal, sometimes Libertarian view on the world with a twist of Taoism, Buddhism and Reason. Tuesday, May 17, 2005. George Galloway bitch-slaps the Senate Committee. I could not be considered a big fan of George Galloway, but I do admire the way he as soundly bitch-slapped the US Senate Committee today, leaving them and their evidence looking amateurish in the extreme. Rumpsfelt"'s ears must be glowing! Posted by Roger Thornhill at 9:56 AM.

The Uncommon Life | Interesting sights along the road less traveled

Interesting sights along the road less traveled. Back to New York. Bull;August 13, 2012 • Leave a Comment. This weekend I made a quick trip to NYC – not my first trip (that was in 2011. The heat wears on you after a while, way too many tourists, plus we managed to get stuck in weekend beach traffic making for a very long bus ride. Next time we’re going in the winter! The Chrysler Building, one of my favorites:. Yesterday for a...

The Uncommonly Common | Providing hope and inspiration through commonality

Providing hope and inspiration through commonality. September 30, 2011. I always wondered why a friend of mine looked so good in her clothes when we went out. There was just something about her look that worked. It said, I’m here and I’m confident. After repeated analysis I understood the pattern: Blazer, earrings, bag. I never had too much quarrel with earrings and bags but blazers? Can you button it and still move with ease? Another important attribute are the sleeves: width and length. For an anyt...
