EVERYTHING comes out in the WASH-ington * My Life as a Pun*. Saturday, May 25, 2013. An now I will make myself magically disappear. This is my belt. I've had this belt for a couple of years. Here are a few of it's characteristics - some momentous. Bottom hole - never used - there are three more below it that are identical. At the top is the 'new notch' - this week I had to drill a new notch in my belt. That brought me joy. Other markers that acknowledge my losses:. TODAY I OFFICIALLY LOST 50 POUNDS.

austin and laura taylor: July 2014
http://austinandlaurataylor.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2014. As is tradition - if you can call a second time a tradition - Grandma Self helped with Evan's first bath at home. Crazy to think that it wasn't really long ago that Brooklyn was the one screaming. About getting wet and clean. First week or two. Behind. Between adjusting to double the trouble and some family trips, we're just now starting to catch our breath after a whirlwind couple of months! The good news is that Brooklyn hasn't asked to take Evan back to the hospital. yet.

Sunday, October 20, 2013. 13 Days to Halloween. In honor of Halloween and my love of all things spooky, creepy, and unnerving, I am watching a scary movie/show for the 13 days leading up. I'll do a little reviews/recommendations as Kellen and I work our way through the list. Can be categorized as: horror, thriller, or associated with a general Halloween theme. (zombies, aliens, witches, killers. etc.). Movies, TV shows, documentary, cartoon = all okay. Favorite Hitchcock or Hitchcock-era films? Not a lot...

austin and laura taylor: June 2014
http://austinandlaurataylor.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2014. A little more about our little guy. We thought this might be a good place to give a few more details about what happened a couple weeks ago. Laura's due date was June 8. The baby had been measuring a little on the big side during a number of her checkups, and we have heard that baby #2 is more likely to be early than late, so we were kind of planning on baby boy arriving sooner than later. We left for the hospital and arrived a little after 2am. Things moved pretty quickly from ...

austin and laura taylor: August 2014
http://austinandlaurataylor.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2014. But all things considered it was a pretty good trip down to Utah. Evan finally got to meet Grandma Taylor! And Austin's Aunt Michelle! And lots of other family members on Austin's side of the family. Evan loved hanging out with Grandpa Taylor. He just settled right in! Laura's family came up from California and we met them for dinner the night we arrived. Grandma Self was very excited to see Evan again. David finally got his nephew he's been asking for! He looked so cute in white!

Friday, November 28, 2014. One Sunday afternoon last month we went to one of our favorite parks to take some photos for our Christmas card. We've picked some of our favorite candid photos and outtakes below. Here's one we almost used for our card. We traded taking photos - we took photos of our friends and they took photos of us. The girls had fun at the park together. We love this photo of Evan. Brooklyn found some big leaves. Laura says this is one of her favorite photos of her boys. Austin is pretty s...

austin and laura taylor: April 2015
http://austinandlaurataylor.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2015. More catching up on our blog with a quick recap of some January stuff after we got back from our California/Utah trip. We really started to notice Brooklyn and Evan learning to play with each other after we returned - it is super cute, even when B puts her (or his) toys where he can't reach them. :). Over the course of our trip our little guy got better at eating. And getting messy while doing it. Brooklyn started primary classes at church - she's not a nursery girl anymore!
