A Fly On Our Wall

Sunday, February 15, 2015. It has been over a year since my last blog post! Where does the time go? My boys are growing, and things are changing! If you know me or are facebook friends with me, there is no doubt that you know what I've been doing the last 18 months - WILDTREE! I have had so many people ask me about my journey with Wildtree I thought I'd finally write a post about it! In the summer of 2013, the thought of paying for tuition started to loom over me! I invited everyone I could think of!

A Fly On Our Wall: September 2013

http://thevandegriendfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 19, 2013. Tomatoes, school, harvest, and Wildtree. Seriously. This is ridiculous that I cannot keep up with this blog! Once again, too much time has passed since I've been able to find a few minutes to write. I have a lot of things to update you on! We have TOO many of them! I have sauce, soup, salsa, whole, crushed, you name it and I've canned it this year. My canning shelf only has tomatoes on it! Here are a few picture of what I've done. Jake also turned 5 on September 4. I can...

A Fly On Our Wall: 6 Week Challenge: Week 1, Days 2-3

http://thevandegriendfamily.blogspot.com/2014/01/6-week-challenge-week-1-days-2-3.html

Wednesday, January 8, 2014. 6 Week Challenge: Week 1, Days 2-3. Well, I am almost done with my third day and I can honestly say that I have not cheated AT ALL. Not even a small chocolate chip that fell off of my sons granola bar. Trust me, that small piece of chocolate was screaming at me to eat it! The first few days are always the hardest so I'm really hoping my body adjust to this no sugary treats and low calorie diet soon. I don't feel too bad besides I feel hungry a lot! A Fly On Our Wall: May 2013

http://thevandegriendfamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. I have been a slacker with this blog. We have been keeping very busy the last few weeks. It finally warmed up, so we had to plant our garden: 28 tomato plants, potatoes, peas, green beans, lettuce, radish, cilantro, and some peppers. We also planted some flowers in our flower beds in front of the house: 144 impatiens to be exact! We spent a lot of time outside a couple weeks ago. Here are some pictures of the boys playing on the slip 'n slide. Ready or not, here I come! That is a...

A Fly On Our Wall: January 2014

http://thevandegriendfamily.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 13, 2014. 6 Week Challenge: Week 2, Day 1. Well, I actually did it! I went an entire week without ice cream, without chocolate, without anything sweet! Not even brown sugar in my oatmeal! I went an entire week getting 4 servings of vegetables (thank you green smoothie! And 2 servings of fruit every day. I exercised for at least 30 minutes 6 days in a row. I didn't eat a single thing after 8. Was it easy? Was I ready to go to THE gas station in town to just get a piece of chocolate? Well, ...

Thursday, August 28, 2008. Pictures from Zach's cardiac catheters. So I know many people have wanted to see our pictures from Zach's many catheters. http://botmafamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 31, 2014. Playing with my puzzle fire truck track - just kept building and rebuilding the track. Kept them busy for a while! Drew loves to line up all my nail polish when I paint my nails. He may have gotten a little glitter on his toes - I figured that was better and less noticeable than the navy blue he wanted! The longest track ever! One of the last summer movies with the boys. Going to see Planes Fire and Rescue with HopeKids. Zach was such a great helper! Sunday, July 20, 2014. His be...

Monday, March 31, 2014. March phone dump - which is really all about Drew. I guess I didn't take as many pictures with my phone this month.and they are all about Drew! Maybe because we had so many big activities and I used my good camera for most of those :). Doesn't everyone stand in their kitchen with a fishing pole in your broekies and flip flops?
