Now it was his turn, the problem, maybe too many magnets, no I believe it was a safety issue. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. There and back again. Summer has been so busy. We feel like this is the first summer since Nate and Brynn's birth that we can go on a spontaneous adventure. And so, we did. Brynn dancing at a Gardens concert. 4th of July parade with Smits and VW. Fireworks in our backyard with lots of friends. Baseball game with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Shirley. The beach with the Heyboers. Swimming lessons for Eli. Blueberry picking with Kissingers. The zoo with Alysha. Go fly a kite!

Thursday, May 30, 2013. Where are you going and where have you been? Well, we are heading into summer and we have been busy! Having our "babies" grow into 4 year olds has meant so many more adventures. We celebrated these soon to be newlyweds. We built these for a Mother's Day gift. We grilled and had smores. We got 3 stitches put in and removed. We (Kara and Jodi) went here for a quick get away. We graduated from 3/4yr preschool. We celebrated 8 years with that big kid in the hat. We hit the ball.

Friday, April 19, 2013. Catching up is hard to do. I am not sure what has happened to my steadfast blogging. Are we on the go more oftern or I am just out of my routine. It has been ages since I updated. Sorry to any of you how still follow us. Here is a quick update of what we have been doing. Included are some pictures of our trips and also spring break although I was quite ill so we mostly stayed home until the end of Eli's second week. Lego friends and American Girl = retail bliss. Nate was NOT a fan.

Tuesday, December 17, 2013. The kids performed in front of church at the Christmas program. And we attended a Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. We cut down our Christmas tree. And enjoyed spending time with Behira and her momma. Behira is the sweetest great-niece ever. Despicable Me 2: a purple and yellow minion, El Macho, Gru, and Margo. And I have been enjoying working at the farm this past summer and fall. Kelly and I have made some gorgeous centerpieces. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Sunday, 6 September 2009. Not feeling so left out anymore. I now know what's been going on! It's been Ganesha-fest and Mary-fest. That's what all the noise and fuss has been about. Bala took me to see where the music and noise has been coming from. Ganesha stalls/statues have popped up. And so have Mary-fest areas. For 7 days, women and men dress in bright orange Saris and shirts and come down to the mini-Mary churches to pray between 6.30-7.30pm. Friday, 4 September 2009. Aunty, your garden is beautiful.
