Repeated attempts at racing. Monday, July 30, 2012. Its on the map. Great weekend, almost training like rides but the views became distracting. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the view. Especially when they are this ice. A short stop at Severn Falls. Followed by a stop at Laughlin Falls. Yes I did ride not just sight see. Saturday wasn't bad but Sunday I stepped it up. Great Canadian Sheild type riding. Coffee is needed today, oh coffee how I love the. Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

I figured it would be clear by the time I headed to her work. Little did I know, forced detours by closed highways, the thoughts of making it to the race began to start. Had some simple plans for this race, survive the double track and pin it in the singletrack. Basiclly work my strength and try and cover my losses where I'm weak. Spent the next couple hours doing a little support when Mother Nature decided to remind us how small we are and shut the race course down with style. The old man sedan became a popular place with Top Gear playing in the dash. Repeated attempts at racing. Monday, June 27, 2011. 24 Hour of Summer Solstice. This may be spread out over two days or more as so much happened. Some seemed like the normal 24 hour stuff, other things were so far from expected. Started out the Saturday morning waking up way to early, like usual, car was packed, bikes were loaded, rain was coming down. Was Mother Nature going to make life miserable for us? Pressure of performing on a bike to make it all work, the synchronizing of it all lead to this.
