http://midorijapan.blogspot.com/2009/10/couchsurfing-through-chiba.html
Midori Japan: Vegan Living in Tokyo. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. After we left Nikko, we headed back to Tokyo and stayed at New Koyo. For a night in a "double" room. It really was just enough room for our bags and for us to sleep, but it worked (and it was cheap). But a tip for anyone else who plans to stay in the Minamisenju. Area, there are tons of other cheap hostels near New Koyo that are a bit harder to find online. One that I spotted around the corner from New Koyo was Hotel Accela. That was down th...

http://e-eatery.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
A blog to find wonderful, healthy recipes based on taste buds, a good diet, lots of research while keeping the pocketbook in mind! Sunday, December 27, 2009. Mediterranean Inspired Sauce for Pasta. I made this up one evening, while trying to use up a few of the many jars of artichoke hearts I had accumulated. It actually turned out really well and with this dish I trained myself to like Kalamata or Greek Olives! Artichoke hearts, already marinated ( at home or store bought). Boiler or pearl onions. http://e-eatery.blogspot.com/2013/01/stir-fry-after-all.html
A blog to find wonderful, healthy recipes based on taste buds, a good diet, lots of research while keeping the pocketbook in mind! Friday, January 25, 2013. Stir Fry, after all. There are tons of veggies you can throw in stir fry. a few of my favorites, but DO NOT limit yourself to:. Baby Corn (again, yuck). Fun toppings are everywhere but I am partial to toasted black sesame seeds. Your own sauce can be fun to make or buy, or leave out completely! Baby Bells (and one teenie weenie habanero, shhhh).

http://e-eatery.blogspot.com/2011/02/simple-stir-fry.html
A blog to find wonderful, healthy recipes based on taste buds, a good diet, lots of research while keeping the pocketbook in mind! Tuesday, February 1, 2011. A Simple Stir Fry. As with most dishes on this blog, you can use whatever veggies you have in your fridge. I happen to have on hand (in this stupid Missouri blizzard) a bunch of Chinese veggies and a random hunk of extra firm tofu I needed to use up. Easy dinner answer; stir-fry. To make this version, you will need:. 1/2 cup green cabbage, bite size.

Jhenn In Japan: February 2007
http://jhenninjapan.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 28, 2007. 8217;s capital and most expensive city in the world. We had a 3 day holiday weekend so I decided to surprise Ed and take him there for his birthday. The weekend was meticulously planned with sealed envelopes and hints of what adventure awaited us! After work, we caught a late bullet train into Shinjuku, wandered to our hotel, then to the convenience store for some nibbles and call it a night! After that was free time. I attempted to find the possibly only letterbox. First we...

Jhenn In Japan: Free Willy
http://jhenninjapan.blogspot.com/2008/08/free-willy.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. I was sad to leave behind my first garden at home, which was blooming readily and giving us many goodies to eat. So I took it upon myself to have another one! We have a rare and lovely little plot instead of a plain balcony behind our apartment. So I bought a little shovel and rake and put all my energy into making a nice little area. In the garden I have: Cosmos, Marigolds, Morning Glories, Mini tomatoes, Mini carrots and one potato. Last night, Ed and I were watching a movie w...
