http://blessedveganlife.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Welcome to my blog and the vegan creations that I make for my family. Instead of being caught up in worrying about what makes a more noble vegan, I just aspire to give my family good, quality food that doesn't harm any fuzzies. I hope you like some of them, as well. Enjoy! Hello, I became vegetarian in 1990 and vegan in 1996. I am living a blessed vegan life with my family. I am a Christian wife and mother who homeschools her three vegan blessings, making me a Blessed Mama. View my complete profile.

I am just starting out as a vegan, and this blog covers recipes I've tried (enjoyed or otherwise) and obstacles I've met. Who Says We Have To Be Perfect? A Haircut and a Baking Fail. Who Says We Have To Be Perfect? I slipped. My boyfriend and I went out for Indian last night, to a place that usually has decent vegan dishes, but alas today they didn’t. My boyfriend’s response? I want being a healthy vegan to be something that exhilarates me, and something I am. October 21, 2013. A Haircut and a Baking Fail.

October 26, 2013. So I’ve been thinking. It’s nearly November and November is world vegan month. The 30 day challenge is when none vegans can attempt to follow a vegan diet for the whole of November. I think it’s a great idea, however, as I’m vegan already it isn’t much of a challenge. I’m currently contemplating following a fully plant based, whole-food diet for the 30 days of November. No processed food or fake meats/dairy products. Anyone else want to join me? Tagged 30 day challenge. October 19, 2013.

The Vegan Verdict

Be a part of the Vegan Jury! Vote with me: Yummy, Yucky, or Meh. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. So, I was walking down the aisle at TJoes and saw this package. I didn't even know they carried Tofurky! Awesome. And it's like $2.50 a package. I usually buy Field Roast at Whole Foods for $5. So, needless to say, I was very curious how this one was going to taste and hoping for the best so I can save money. On your next Tjoes run, get these with some hot dog buns! It's sooo worth it. :). Have you tried these?

Thursday, December 9, 2010. Breakfast at the Ravens. Tempeh "scramble"- more like a stir-fry. Cinnamon swirl french toast. Ahh, chipotle. so good, so filling. maybe the best guack you can get in a chain mexicali joint. why would anyone put cheese on that? Too bad in the battle of (wo)man vs. burrito, though you may think you've won, the burrito always does in the end. Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Welcome to The Vegan Verse! Sunday, July 5, 2015. Poke cake. The decidedly non-vegan, pudding filled Cool Whip laden cake that is supposed to be delicious. Everyone in my family loves it. I have tried to make a vegan Poke Cake a few times in the past, quite unsuccessfully I might add. I have been unable to make a vegan version of pudding that does not get awfully hard when cooled and until recently I don't think there were any viable Cool Whip alternatives. Give this one a try the next time you have an outing to go to. I promis...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Vegan Bill of Rights at Restaurants. December 29, 2012. I admit a Bill of Rights is a bit overkill on the metaphor, but I ask that you give me a little leeway here. More than a Bill of Rights, these ideas are just good business. It expands the market. Trust me. If this growing group of baby-boomer / Gen X patrons have to stay home just to get a decent meal, the restaurant industry is going to feel it. The server should know what a Vegan is. I think this...
