Salt and pepper /paprika to taste. 15 tsp of lemon juice. 2 tsp of corriander chopped. Optional 2-3 tsp of dil leaves chopped. Soak the whole mung in water for 4-6 hours, drain the water and tie it in a cloth tightly and keep something heavy on top of it. It might take 1 or 2 days for the mung to sprout. Wash and cut the cucumber finely. Wash and cut the tomatoes finely.

The Guide Into the Vegetarian Culinary Art. Thursday, July 30, 2015. 1 Cup - Roasted Rawa. 1 Cup - Sugar. 2-3 tbs - Ghee. 1 pinch -Saffron or food colour. 15 cups boiling water. Pinch of cardamom powder. 2 spoons-Fried cashews and raisins for garnish. Mix all the ingredients in a microwave safe big bowl with lid.( except Cashews and Raisins). Microwave high for 2 mins, take it out mix well. Microwave again for 2.3 mins. Add Cardamom powder and the garnishing ingredients and mix well.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. SNAKE GOURD STIRFRY/PODLANGAI CURRY/PADAVALKAI PALLYA-2. Please cook this curry following the instructions of Snake gourd curry as in method one. Here You can cook 100-150 gms of Thur dhal or Masoor dhal Or Mungdhal and add it to the curry. You can grind green chillies to taste, coriander leaves, and coconut and mix to the curry. Cook for 2-3 minutes after adding the ground masala. As Dhal and ground masala are added it is like a gravy curry. Serve it hot with Rice or Roti.
