The Writer / Director James Hughes. Had always expressed concerns over the environmental damage being done by mankind. Yet of parallel importance was the desire to use the short film. Format as a tool for invention, and an expression of artistic styles. Combining the two, he began work on The Velvet Abstract. The sheer scale, logistics, and cost of such a production went beyond any he had encountered before. But the opportunity to work with some of the finest artists. He has now brought the production.

From directing a ninety minute award-winning period costume drama for local television, a stage show to a live audience of 4000 in Tuscany, to directing Tobias Menzies. In my latest short film, I have been fortunate to work on an array of quality productions. This experience led to me being hired to be a Speaker. For the Screenwriting Expo. I taught a popular class on filmmaking to filmmakers from around the world.
