There's always something to smile about: The Byward Market
http://thesethingsmakemesmile.blogspot.com/2009/10/byward-market.html
Tuesday, October 13, 2009. I went to the Byward Market in Ottawa this weekend and had a fantastic time! There is something special about the Byward Market.it's not as bohemian or pretentious as Kensington, not as crowded as St. Lawrence and much more 'homey' than the Queen Victoria in Melbourne. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and I was able to snap a picture of these cute little painted pumpkins. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There's always something to smile about. There's always something to smile about: July 2009

Friday, July 31, 2009. Waking up to sunshine and birdsong. There are few things nicer than waking up slowly on a Saturday morning to sunshine and birdsong. Your eyes flutter open and you see blue skies and fluffy white clouds out the window (if you're lucky enough to have a view of the sky! Somewhere in the distance birds chirp and squirrels chatter. You look at the clock and decide, with a big stretch and a slight pillow-reposition, to stay in bed a few minutes longer. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Sites tha...

Tuesday, January 5, 2010. I love that "I haven't worked out in two weeks and my body is killing me after doing weights last night" ache. There's always something to smile about: September 2009
http://thesethingsmakemesmile.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. There's this huge pimp-looking guy that rides a stupid electric bike to work each morning. It's dumb. It's half motorcycle, half scooter.it's just ridiculous. He always cuts me off and never signals. He rarely obeys the rules of the road. It's very frustrating. Today, he decided that instead of riding on the road, he was going to ride on the sidewalk. Keep in mind that this guy was probably going at least around 20km/hr - this is dangerous to have on the sidewalk! I was liste...

Monday, March 28, 2011. So I haven't blogged since November. The really exciting stuff is coming up over the next few months. Our wee house is getting an addition! Basically, we are adding a whole big room on to the back of the second floor which will be our master bedroom complete with big windows, a big closet and an en suite bathroom. WAHOO! The addition will also affect the kitchen since we'll be able to open it up to the mudroom which will then become a little sitting area with more windows!

Sneaky Milk: Big Blob of Meh
http://sneakymilk.blogspot.com/2010/09/big-blob-of-meh.html
I'm a glass half-full kinda gal. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Big Blob of Meh. I used to be a very creative person. I was always acting, writing, drawing, painting…I was always creating. Lately, though, I don’t feel like a creative person at all. I feel like a, *gasp*, Normal! I feel like I don’t use my brain! I don’t know how I’m going to do NaNoWriMo and write a 50,000 word novel in November if I can hardly manage to write a blog post or a sketch each day. I think it all comes down to me being lazy.
