The Vibrant Library: Where Have I Been?
http://thevibrantlibrary.blogspot.com/2016/08/where-have-i-been.html
Reflections on education, technology, inquiry, learning, and assessment with the purpose of creating a vibrant school library. Sunday, August 21, 2016. Where Have I Been? It is no coincidence that the last time I posted was April of 2015. Sixteen months ago, I embarked upon an intensive journey toward a NYS School Administrator License. Last summer, I spent 3 weeks living in a dorm and attending classes from about 8:00 am until 6:00 pm (sometimes 9:00 pm! Increasing engagement through student choice?

The Vibrant Library: Welcome Summer!
http://thevibrantlibrary.blogspot.com/2013/06/welcome-summer_24.html
Reflections on education, technology, inquiry, learning, and assessment with the purpose of creating a vibrant school library. Monday, June 24, 2013. The 2012-2013 school year has ended, and what a year it was! It was a year of many frustrations with regard to testing and APPR, but also many exciting changes. I'm really proud of the work my students have been doing, despite the SLO testing we had to wade through. Any advice for me? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Seventh Wish, by Kate Messner.

Reflections on education, technology, inquiry, learning, and assessment with the purpose of creating a vibrant school library. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Thing 10: Productivity Tools. Then the students can identify relevant pieces of information and save it to my account. I will have to play around when I get back to school and see if that would work. I could also use it to help teach keywords and identifying main ideas. I love this tool and hope to find ways to use it! March 31, 2013 at 9:47 PM.
The Vibrant Library: December Already?
http://thevibrantlibrary.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-already.html
Reflections on education, technology, inquiry, learning, and assessment with the purpose of creating a vibrant school library. Sunday, December 8, 2013. It seems like yesterday that I wrote my last post, and now the first trimester of the year is already over! 1 A Flexible Schedule! I have never been busier. I began the year with Library Boot Camp, and I saw every single class in grades 3-6 for 30 minutes every day for 10 days! I learned so much, I met so many wonderful people, and I had so much fun chat...

The Vibrant Heart
A wee hug from my innocence to yours. Same, same. With Love, Pema. Posted at 11:25 AM. I became an American citizen last year, just in time to vote for my love, Bernie. With pride and gratitude and tears in my eyes I voted for someone who touched my heart and sense of fairness and all things noble, kind and good. That marks this mind. Just as 'my own' shadow keeps surfacing and dissolving, the shadow of my adopted country does likewise. My mirror. And all happening inside this mind. May I, may we all, fi...

To Live, To Laugh, To Love
Monday, December 10, 2012. It's time to play catch-up. Posted by The Learner. Friday, July 22, 2011. We had so much fun this weekend! My mom, sis, daughter and I decided to take a little drive down I-70 through the gorgeous canyon and arrived in Utah a number of hours later. :) We woke up Saturday morning grabbed our clothes for a few days and headed out the door. I love it! We relaxed. NOT! When do we ever relax? Enjoying our beautiful world. A gorgeous drive up the canyon. Dancing the day away.

Vibrant Living
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Is it obvious I'm new at this? This weekend I planned on starting up my little urban patio garden. The Mister, the Bumblebee (aka my daughter; but from now on, and for her privacy I will refer to her as that), and I made our way to Home Depot to purchase some supplies. I seriously shouldve done more research before going. I just assumed that we would go in, pick up a bag of soil and be done with it. Again, did I mention I'm new to all this? So I pick up some things, and head home...
