Q: Can I sort the participants screen? A: Yes, any column in the participants’ grid can be sorted by clicking on the column header you wish to sort. Q: How do I get out of Demo Mode? A: Once you obtain your keycode from www.thevictorytimer.com. Open The Victory Timer program and click keycode on the main screen. Then, type the keycode in the boxes and click the save button. Q: Can I change the age groupings? Q: Does the Victory Timer allow for online registration? And they can send them into you manually.
5k Race Timing Tips

Enter all your preregistered participants prior to race day. At least two people are needed at the finish line. Ne person will write down the bib numbers on a sheet of paper in the order that the people cross the finish line. There's no need to collect the tabs from the bibs. The second person will click the Runner In button in the Victory Timer program and then enter the bib number. Eep an extension cord available for computer battery issues. Have a place to protect your laptop during inclement weather.

In 2010 the Mt. Victory United Methodist church hosted a 5K as a fundraiser for church missions. We were put in charge of organizing this event. As we were organizing the race: lining up sponsors, medals, t-shirts, we were also trying to figure out the best and most cost effective way to record the participant’s time as they crossed the finish line. How the 5k timer works

This is where you will add/edit your participants. Simply hit Add to enter your participants. Fill out the desired info for each runner. When runners cross the finish line, hit the Runner-In button or the space bar to record their time. Enter the Bib Number next to the time to populate their information automatically. After your race is complete, hit the Results button and have them in seconds! Results are available here immediately following your race. Edit the name of your race on this screen.
