The rest of Rogue Nation is filled with the usual Mission: Impossible shenanigans that you’ve come to expect from the series. That is to say it’s pretty awesome. Cruise’s IMF team are in danger of being disbanded and it’s up to him to prove the existence of a shadowy anti-IMF team in order to keep Alec Baldwin from shutting them down. This of course leads to more ridiculous action sequences. Based on a tv show.

Directed by Maloof and Charlie Siskel (Gene’s nephew); Finding Vivian Maier is an intriguing look into the mind of not only Maier, but Maloof as well. The two are definitely kindred spirits as they both possess an almost obsessive drive. Seeing Maloof doggedly trying to raise awareness of her work (most museums seem uninterested) makes the flick fun to watch. It came from the thrift store. Legends of the silver screen.

Movie Reviews by Mitch. CITY LIMITS (1985) *. Aug 10th, 2016 at 9:29 PM. The film was directed by Aaron Lipstadt, who bathes a lot of the movie in almost total darkness. He also stages the fight scenes in an uninspired manner. The only action sequence worth a damn is when James Earl Jones joins the fray and starts blowing up people with explosive remote-controlled airplanes. Even then, it’s too little, too late.
