http://www.theviewfromcrescenthill.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 28, 2014. We've been outside nonstop in May…loving this weather! Andrew and his buddy at the splash park. Mother's Day with my sweet girl and boy! We went to Forest Fest at Jefferson Memorial Forest to watch some bluegrass music. Erin brought Leena and Julianne up from Nashville. Harper and Leena missed each other! Swinging in my parents' backyard. 8230;while Harper and I enjoy my mom's garden. It is so pretty in the spring! Then we went to the park again! Nate and Alison Moulder. The end ...

The View From Crescent Hill: Summertime!

http://www.theviewfromcrescenthill.blogspot.com/2015/07/summertime.html

Thursday, July 9, 2015. Holland's first hike…Horine section at Jefferson Memorial Forest. She slept the whole time! 1 month checkup…stats: 9 lbs and 22 inches! It is so much fun to take all 3 kids to the doctor! I feel like we hit up the pediatrician's office at least once per week between well checks and sick visits. All 3 of my cuties! We hosted a neighborhood cookout at our house to say good-bye to some longtime neighbors of ours. We are sad to see them go even though they didn't move too far away!

Friday, October 18, 2013. A month of festivals. October means just about every festival imaginable around here.Fall festivals, pumpkin ones, Halloween trick-or-treat festivals- we've been to them all these past few weeks. It's been such a beautiful October we've been outside one way or another! At the zoo of course.we probably go once a week at least! St Matthews Farmer's market one Saturday. NuLu Festival on East Market in downtown Louisville. These two were dancing to the music of course! With the blueg...

Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Warm weather….for a couple days at least. Until the polar vortex returns next week, we've been enjoying the warm weather, mud and all:. Nate and Alison Moulder. Master Bathroom…Finally finished! It's official…a year and a half later the master bathroom is finally finished! It has been mostly done since early fall but now the shower doors are on and everything works! I've been dreaming of a (real) bathtub for 10 years…and finally we have one! Nate and Alison Moulder. We've re...

Herring Family Happenings: Halloween!

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2014/11/halloween.html

Sunday, November 2, 2014. We had a wonderful Halloween week! We carved pumpkins Tuesday evening, the kids celebrated "Princess and Superhero Day" at school on Thursday, and we trick or treated with our friends on Friday night. Graham was disgusted by the pumpkin guts and cried when they got anywhere near him. Piper, on the other hand, dug right in. Piper drew her pumpkin design and oversaw the process as Josh brought it to life. They were very proud of their pumpkins! Snow White and Prince Charming!

Herring Family Happenings: October 2012

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. It's no secret that I LOVE holidays, especially ones that involve special clothes. This year we stretched out Halloween for almost two weeks! She is wearing a cape that my mom had from when I was a kid (and I think it was even my brothers' before it was mine), and Graham is wearing a hooded sweatshirt that Mom and I converted into the best Big Bad Wolf costume I've ever seen (if I do say so myself! They were soooooo cute together! Squirmy kids do not photograph well! We've sp...

Herring Family Happenings: September 2012

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 30, 2012. Graham totally surprised me when he started waving goodbye as we were leaving church this morning. Sunday, September 23, 2012. She gets her dance moves from her daddy :-). Friday, September 21, 2012. Graham started playing peekaboo with me a couple of weeks ago, but I just recently got it on camera. I think it's interesting that Piper began to play peekaboo by hiding herself, and Graham plays by making me hide. Enjoy! Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Monday, September 17, 2012.

Herring Family Happenings: January 2013

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 24, 2013. What I want to remember: Graham at 1 year (and some change). A rare still moment! I'm pretty sure I've never been so late in posting an update. I think it's safe to assume that this will be Graham's last "monthly" update for a while as it is becoming more and more difficult to find the time to blog with two toddlers running around. I'll just have to do updates as I get the chance. Because this distresses him so, I have to do most of my meal prep during naptime. He was comp...

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 31, 2012. Thursday, August 23, 2012. There's no place like home. I was lucky enough to spend several days back home a few weeks ago. We are never hurting for things to do when we're with Nana and Tam-Tam. See for yourself! Wanted a picture of the kids and me with the mountains in the background. They did not feel the same way I did. Ian is so good to swim around with Piper at the lake! Mamaw was a good sport to push Piper around in the little car. Sizing each other up. 5K- Mom's first race!

Friday, December 21, 2012. Graham's First Birthday Video. Monday, December 17, 2012. Merry Christmas, from our family to yours! Thursday, December 13, 2012. Officially a year old! We are having Graham's big party back home this weekend, but I couldn't let his birthday pass by without some fanfare here at home. Sorry this video isn't very long. Josh's phone cut off unexpectedly. Someone was a little upset that she wasn't allowed to help. Happily playing with his new cars and dinosaurs. We went all out for...

Herring Family Happenings: July 2012

http://herringfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 28, 2012. Graham has been working hard. On a few new skills as of late (and by hard. I mean so hard there's no time to eat or sleep). Learning to pull up caused a MAJOR disturbance in his sleep over the past two weeks. Now he can reach all the noisy buttons :-(. The upstairs is the perfect level. Maybe if I grab this with my teeth. How can you expect me to sleep in this bed when I can stand here and scream at you for as long as I want? Monday, July 23, 2012. Seven months comparison pictures.

The View From Calvert's Castle. Thoughts we want to share. Mission:Kenya on our mind. Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
