As promised, here's a brief explanation of NSSL meet scoring:. The last heat (aka the "point"heat) of each event is scored as follows:. First place - 5 points. Second place - 3 points. Third place - 2 points. Fourth place - 1 point. There are 6 relays at the end of each meet. The events are:. 47 - Mixed 40 200 Freestyle relay. 48 - Mixed 40 200 Medley relay.

I just rediscovered an article on the USA Swimming website. Did the child learn to swim with more skill this past season so he or she is both stronger and safer in the water? Did the child learn to exhibit initiative, wanting to come to the pool and do the practice without having to be constantly pushed or prodded by parents and coaches? Long Live the Bicorn!

Please ask your swim to check-in at the ribbon tent. 3) Team t-shirts will be available at the ribbon tent after warm-up. Please have your swimmer pick theirs up if they haven't already done so.
