Keeping Up with the Kutters: December 2013
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Why We Go Together. December 31, 2013. I knew this Christmas would be special. A year I would call the best yet. Where Carson would start to see just how magical Christmas really is. I've been looking forward to experiencing these magical moments since last year. And it happened just like I thought it would. I saw the magic the second we put the tree up and through the entire month of December. The look in his young eyes and the smiles each moment created. A special reminder of the magic Christmas brings.

Keeping Up with the Kutters: Carson's 2nd Birthday
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/2013/12/carsons-2nd-birthday.html
Why We Go Together. December 30, 2013. My baby is two. My sweet turkey baby that won't stop growing despite my wishes. We celebrated very simple this year. With different family over several weekends. That's how it is when you're a turkey baby. The birthday that seems to never end. I don't think he minded. We celebrated with Gammy, Don and Big Nana at the farm. Then, we celebrated just the three of us on his actual birthday. There was plenty of present-opening for this two-second-attention-span child.

Keeping Up with the Kutters: Watch Me Grow
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/p/watch-me-grow.html
Why We Go Together. If you're an avid follower of this blog, you've seen my super exhilarating posts about my kid each month. The series is called Watch Me Grow. From newborn to 12 Months, I attempted to capture a milestone photo of Carson, and post them here (usually late because that's how moms roll). I've continued the series past his one-year-old birthday, but not every month. I accompany the photo with his monthly statistics and write him a letter or stories of what went on that month. The Adam and ...

Why We Go Together. October 31, 2013. The kind of fall I long for. Fall just might be my favorite season. It's a tough competitor to summer, but you can't beat these crisp fall days we've been enjoying. It's exactly the kind of fall I long for. Is a wonderful season, isn't it? Kansas City just experienced three days of intense rain, but the sun is finally shining today. Just in time for trick or treating tonight. Soccer ball, "Back-et-ball", any ball really. The kid loves balls. October 4, 2013. Is still...

Keeping Up with the Kutters: September 2013
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Why We Go Together. September 24, 2013. Welp, it's been a while. It's been more than a month since I posted last. A month and a half to be exact. Embarrassing. However, I have managed to post 42 pictures to Instagram since my last blog post. But I can't seem to find any time for my little ole blog. Sigh. There's been other things that we've been up to. Like dealing with a dog I've threatened to get rid of. Yep, I said it. I kid Sort of. My favorite is when he repeats expressions, Oh no, Alright, Yeah Rig...

Keeping Up with the Kutters: Funny things my kid said.
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/2014/02/funny-things-my-kid-said.html
Why We Go Together. February 1, 2014. Funny things my kid said. My child is now 26 months old and I have yet to do his two-year-old Watch Me Grow. I'm a terrible mother. I'll eventually get to it, but not today. Today, I'm writing down the funny things Carson has said recently. So we can show him one day and laugh together. The two-year-old milestone brings a lot of repetition, questions, adding possession to verbs and nouns and realizing of emotion. Let me tell you, two-year-olds say really. Me: Carson,...

Keeping Up with the Kutters: Why We Go Together
http://kristaandbriankutter.blogspot.com/p/why-we-go-together.html
Why We Go Together. Why We Go Together. Brian and I have been married for four years, together seven. That’s really not that long when you hear about cute, wrinkly elderly couples making it 50 years. Take my grandparents for example. Amazing stuff right there. However, in the seven years we have been together, we have experienced enough together to realize and accept we don't have the Leave it to Beaver. Back, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. We've learned to understand each other. Brian kn...
