Friday, 23 December 2011. HAPPY CHRISTMAS from Salisbury Vineyard Church! This is an excellent variation on traditional mince pies. 1 Packet Filo pastry, defrosted. 400g Mincemeat (14 oz). 1 Orange, zest only. 15g Butter, melted ( 1/2 oz). Trim the pastry sheets and cut into 24 squares approximately 15 cm (6 inches). Place 3 filo pastry squares on top of each other at a slight angle to form a pointed "star". Posted by Jo Rowe. Wednesday, 4 January 2012. It is that time of year that feel like I want to eat green things! I think it is after all the cheese and the sweet stuff. So tonight's meal is spinach and pea risotto. It is a great "store" cupboard recipe. I'm afraid this isn't really a recipe. more of an action! So it won't follow usual recipe structure. Sorry! Once they are cooked through I put them on a warm plate under tin foil until I need them,. I heck the seasoning and grate a little fresh nutmeg into the risotto.

Wednesday, 7 December 2011. The Best Sauce for Breakfast Pancakes. This is incredible. We eat this for pudding too sometimes. with vanilla ice cream too! 1 tin of peaches (halved). Fresh raspberries to serve. Put the butter and sugar in the pan over a low heat. Heat until sugar dissolved into the melted butter. Add the peaches and warm through. Add the syrup and reduce a little for 3 minutes or so. Serve on pancakes with the fresh raspberries (and ice cream, if pudding or VERY indulgent breakfast!

Every time it vibrates, I turn my attention and affection to Jesus. This simple practise of living in His presence and recognising His being with me every moment of every day has been delightful.
