Sep 20, 2008. We got married August 9, 2008 on a gorgeous summer day! Now that we have our own family, we decided we should follow in the footsteps of our friends and create our own family website. Thanks to SaraBeth/Eric and Kristen/Eric for a great idea of how to stay in touch with everyone who is so far away! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Good Search- M.W. Savage Elementary. The Strahota's: Pretty sure winter came too early!
http://strahotafamily.blogspot.com/2009/10/pretty-sure-fall-came-too-early.html
Oct 15, 2009. Pretty sure winter came too early! It snowed for the first time on Oct. 10th. That is entirely too early in my eyes. We haven't had a chance to go to the orchard, or carve pumpkins, or even prep our yard for winter. So instead we hopped in the car and went straight to Walmart to purchase fall and Halloween decorations. Here's a picture of the first snowfall of the season. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://theharvalas.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 10, 2009. Joshua's 1st day of Sunday School with his teacher. On our way out to Rapid City we needed to stop and see what the fuss is all about at Wall Drug. Yes, we learned some history about all those "Free Ice Water" signs. Our 1st family activity in Rapid City after some dinner. Adam tried to show Miriam the proper way to get the ball in the hole, but she's a smart cookie and figured out an easier way on her own! Modern enterainment (movie in the laptop) in a "pop-up" camper. We to...

Harvalas In Holland: Part of December
http://theharvalas.blogspot.com/2010/02/part-of-december.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. Cutting down our Christmas Tree! More outside time and working hard. Putting up the window clings. While working on decorating the tree, Miriam decorated herself! Daddys make good tables. Joshua baked cupcakes for his 1/2 birthday. And Miriam helped daddy with the dishes. They sure like to do things. Dishes, bake, shovel, help with the tree, decorating, drawing.I think every picture they were enjoying something they were doing. February 5, 2010 at 2:02 PM. May 19, 2013 at 9:30 AM.

Harvalas In Holland: May 2009
http://theharvalas.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 15, 2009. Miriam on our little slide, it's just the right size for her! She thinks she's pretty smart climbing up on the chair all by herself. At the end of the Fireman's spaghetti dinner Joshua got a ride home in a fire truck! After Easter we took a couple days and went down to Yankton for a little visit. The boy in the back is Kyle, he was a preschooler in one of the classes I helped with. One of his favorite things, a slide! Playing in the sand at the "rainbow" park in Yankton.

Happy at Home: Celebration
http://jack-and-adelaide.blogspot.com/2013/11/celebration.html
Monday, November 11, 2013. We celebrated two years of life with our Charlotte with chocolate cupcakes, family, friends, dogs, trampoline jumping and lots of balloons. Her favorite things. Charlotte LOVES baby Dashiell and calls all the baby dolls by his name. David wowed children and adults alike with his talented balloon artistry. Shy girl graciously listened to a room full of people singing to her. Are they almost finished, mom? Bran, Ava, and Joan. Lots of helpers for present opening. Just like on TV!

The Strahota's: July 2009
http://strahotafamily.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Jul 30, 2009. Some of my friends are probably laughing at me right now. I know that new baseboards do not seem super exciting, but when you've been looking at broken plaster pieces for 3 months it gets kind of old. My dad and Uncle Jerry spent the better part of their Saturday installing the baseboards that I carefully stained. And our living room looks great! Check out the before and after pictures. Jul 18, 2009. During the summer, when I actually have time to breathe, I enjoy cooking. Jul 15, 2009.
