The Forester Clan: The Christmas Drama
http://foresterclan.blogspot.com/2012/02/christmas-drama.html
Saturday, February 18, 2012. Ever since we visited the live nativity in Waxahachie, Kent has wanted to do something similar. This was the year! Maybe not as grand as Waxahachie, but live and powerful non the less. Here is the whole cast. Mary, Joesph, three angles, three shepherds, two wise men and an inn keeper. The wise men. with their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. (Again a package saves the day. I made a gold bar from some metallic scrapbook paper that was sent with a team.). Lastly the kings...

The Forester Clan: August 2011

Sunday, August 7, 2011. Some my find these pictures disturbingly gross, I however find them extremely interesting. I'm just sayin. This is one of those GI-MORMUS rats that comes in our yard sometimes. That Lady must have killed during the middle of the night. Only it is COMPLETELY covered in ants. i couldn't even tell what it was at first. It was only after poking and prodding that I was able to discover what lied beneath the dark, wiggling mass. Cool and gross all at the same time. Science lesson! So th...

Thursday, March 1, 2012. Hanging out at the Hometown. I am not afraid to admit that cooking in NOT on my list of things I enjoy doing. Every once-in-a while I get a cooking bug. but I usually stay pretty healthy. ;) SO Sunday lunch out is a meal I really look forward too. We have started "going local", meaning we don't have to wait 1.5 hours AND we can eat for less than $20 and we are usually SUPER FULL! The Hometown Inn is one of our favorite places to go! Curly, trying to have a pouty face.

Monday, April 18, 2011. Out with the old. in with the NEW. As you might remember. we lost our fridge a. Few weeks ago. It was a very tragic Saturday and it happened just a few days before Kent left for India. There wasn't time for us to replace, or repair, or do ANYTHING! We were blessed, however, by a friend and we were able to borrow a tiny dorm fridge. which was helpful until power went out. and stayed out. for days. BUT that is another story! It is about 7" bigger both ways! I am LOVING my new fridge!

Monday, October 31, 2011. Blessings in a Bag. So, remember how my last blog post talked about ice cream. and how Kent always asks for "Blue Bell" . Well this was my Mother-in-loves fix for that. always creative. An Ice Cream maker, and it doesn't doesn't require ice! HOW COOL is that? Ice is always in short supply in our town! But those bags can hold some AMAZING things! Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds and Honey Nut Cheerios are two of our MOST favorite flavors! And Corn chips. so wonderful! When peop...

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Bye bye beautiful tree. This used to be a big BEAUTIFUL tree that was in our front yard. It was the kid's favorite climbing tree, it gave great shade, it blocked the view of our ugly dirt driveway. it was an all around AWESOME tree. A huge storm blew through one night. the kind that makes Hubby and I rearrange all our bedroom furniture to keep it dry, cause the water is pouring in! Took the rest down. Look closely. can anyone tell what kind of tree that is? Links to this post.

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Meet Charcoal the Monkey. He was "thrown in" the last package from my mom, and was an instant part of Snuggle Bugs primate family. Some of you may remember that one of SB's gifts last year for Christmas was a bed for her monkey Chocolate, and that Baby Girl drew her a portrait of Chocolate as well. When SB met Charcoal it was love at first sight! 65279;This is a random picture I took, but it was too cute to NOT post some where. Links to this post. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. So our...
