The Waiting Project

Saturday, May 3, 2008. Thanks to James for ending my wait. Saturday, April 26, 2008. I saw one of the first tell tale signs that spring has finally arrived here in Syracuse. I was reunited with some good friends of mine after their long winter hiatus. This only serves as a reminder for how long I've been waiting. Saturday, April 19, 2008. Saturday, April 12, 2008. Sunday, April 6, 2008. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Saturday, March 22, 2008. Sorry about not making it this weekend. I went to my brother...

The Waiting Project: Monday, February 18, 2008

http://thewaitingprojectdefault.blogspot.com/2008/08/monday-february-18-2008.html

Monday, February 18, 2008. Well I just missed it. This past weekend was Winterfest in Syracuse, and I was out of town. From what I saw in the paper it looked like it was a good time. With the temperatures getting above freezing during the day, most of the ice sculptures had started to melt, so there wasn’t much to look at. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Waiting Project: Sunday, January 20, 2008

http://thewaitingprojectdefault.blogspot.com/2008/08/sunday-january-20-2008.html

Sunday, January 20, 2008. Well it was a pretty hectic weekend from start to finish. After two twelve-hour days of back to back critiques I am ready to take a little time off. Sorry that I had to change my location, but I figured having been in Clinton Square for three months with nothing to show for it, what was there to lose? However, nothing exciting happened in Baltimore, it was like no one noticed I was there. I am just looking forward to being back on my bench this week.

Saturday, March 1, 2008. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Starting in October of 2007, I began waiting in Clinton Square, Syracuse, New York for one hour a week until someone who learned about my project introduced themselves to me. Once that happened, I could stop waiting and the project would conclude. The date and time for each week's session was posted two days in advance through the project’s blog. The Waiting Project: Saturday, January 26, 2008

http://thewaitingprojectdefault.blogspot.com/2008/08/saturday-january-26-2008.html

Saturday, January 26, 2008. It felt good to be back. There have been some big changes since two weeks ago. Most notably was the Christmas tree that had finally come down, along with the manger display. It was getting pretty obvious after two months that most of the needles had fallen off and the tree was looking pretty dead. However, I did enjoy having friends to read with, even if they were plastic. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.matthewkeeney.com.

The Waiting Ones

Tuesday, June 10, 2008. The Most Terrible/Wonderful Day. Today has been a roller-coaster ride of emotions and I'm very ready to go to bed. Last night there was a terrible hail storm that hit us pretty hard. Justin and I are fine, but our garden is mostly gone I'm afraid. Not sure what will bounce back and what will wither away, but we're praying some of it will be alright. I didn't handle this part of my day very well, throwing myself into a "why doesn't anything ever work out for me" fit. Also, I've had...
