I’m testing this on my OTHER caching box – a shallow 1RU box with space for two SSD’s and that’s about it. Now things get a little tricky, as I’d already installed my system with the ssd in one volume group. I’ll be using a RAID array for the production box for PiCloud. And now we want to attach this cache pool to our iscsi LV. On March 28, 2013.

We run a small Citrix XenServer cluster at work, for our internal servers, and we had been running just a simple raid-1 array on the backend server. However the idea of SSD cache peaked my interest, so I backed up our storage repo one weekend, and reinstalled the server. Here’s how I installed it:. The One and Only. What a crazy weekend. Posted by Damien Gardner. On January 11, 2013. So a Classic Industries ‘mini tourer’ popped up on ebay last week for $1200 Buy It Now. It was an ’86 model, so fairly old shape, but I still couldn’t resist – that was basically what I had budgeted for building a trailer! Roll off the throttle 15km before goulburn, and the bike dies. UGH! Pull over, she starts fine. Next time I roll off, same thing! UV must be through the roof today! Trailer is a little beauty! I mana...

However the site is now fully database-driven, so I can add new articles/pages by just shoving the text in, and everything else is taken care of by templates, etc, so we’re ready to burl. Now normally, the two rooms downstairs which make up my office have their airconditioners running fairly solidly. little 1.3kW, fairly quiet unit in the office itself, and a 1.5kW fairly noisy unit in the front room. They usually run on around a 20% duty cycle in the colder weather. Walked into the office when i got home from sydney this evening, and it was 16C in the office, and both aircons were off!
