Tanzania: Equipping a future generation – The Wandering Wayfarer

http://thewanderingwayfarer.co.nz/portfolio/tanzania-equipping-a-future-generation

Those who wander are not lost" - JRR Tolkein. Tanzania: Equipping a future generation. As the end of the week grew closer, our time in Arusha was growing to a bittersweet close. In many ways, a little bit longer stay would be great, in others; many of us were looking forward to home and loved ones, as well as some home comforts. Equipping a future generation with knowledge is one of the most powerful things we can do together. To find out more about JSA, click here for their school website.

Those who wander are not lost" - JRR Tolkein. Rarotonga: Rain, vows and musketeers. With a mate getting hitched on the pearly white sands of a Rarotongan beach, who wouldn’t look forward to a few days in the sun on those crystal clear aqua waters? Turns out Mother Nature had other plans, but was kind enough to provide a window of dry (albeit windy) weather while the important vows were made. Hop on the bus – it only goes one way or the other! We may have actually slept in and missed our original booking,...

Toronto City: Canada – The Wandering Wayfarer

http://thewanderingwayfarer.co.nz/portfolio/toronto-city-canada

Those who wander are not lost" - JRR Tolkein. Toronto didn’t appear to sleep – if it did, it was with it’s eyes open. Nights felt safe, and the shopping malls were open late, Toronto Eaton Centre providing layer upon layer of stores to tempt that slowly emptying wallet. Yonge Street, Yonge-Dundas Square, Queen St West … all busy streets filled with shopping, eateries, churches, nightlife and more. A “must-do” when you’re in Toronto huh? Phuket, Thailand: Same, Same but Different.

About – The Wandering Wayfarer

http://thewanderingwayfarer.co.nz/about

Those who wander are not lost" - JRR Tolkein. Hi, I’m Nat. I tend to jump on planes at short notice and go on mad adventures. Of the countless trips I’ve taken, not many are planned/researched. And you know what? I like it that way. Life’s more fun when it’s spontaneous and you gotta figure things out along the way. Can’t speak the language? Don’t know where to eat? Go where the people are! No plans for the day? Grab a camera and get walking. Why “The Wandering Wayfarer”?
