The Wastepapers: Heartlines
http://thewastepapers.blogspot.com/2015/06/heartlines.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The Little Room Detail, Walter Anderson. It's been my experience that people who have no experience or training are sometimes the best artists."- James Meade. Those are the words of my college painting and drawing instructor. He makes a valid point. School is about learning the formal aspects of art. Learn the formal aspects as well as you can so you don't even think about the formalities and just paint. Or as Meade put it, "transcribing the human soul". That is what I want from m...
The Wastepapers: August Break
http://thewastepapers.blogspot.com/2014/07/august-break.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. With school and my new job starting soon I'm going to be taking a bit of a painting hiatus to play around with a new medium: photography. August Break. Is the brain child of one one my favorite blogger/authors, Susannah Conway. The idea is to respond to daily photo prompts over the course of the month of August. Let's see how this goes! The Wastepapers: January 2014
http://thewastepapers.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. I've recently been re-reading Susannah Conway's book This I Know. Admittedly, there was a long period of my life when I was not at peace with what I saw. As a teenager and in my early twenties I was extremely self-conscious. I aways looked in the mirror with a list of if onlys. If only my nose wasn't so wide. If only my eyes didn't squint up when I smile. If only my face were more narrow. If only I was thinner. Saturday, January 4, 2014. Filling the Well and Letting it Rain.
The Wastepapers: My Art Journaling Hang Up
http://thewastepapers.blogspot.com/2014/07/my-art-journaling-hang-up.html
Friday, July 25, 2014. My Art Journaling Hang Up. To make myself loosen up I've been working with cheap, non-precious materials like Crayola markers and colored pencils and old random pencils I found in the bottom of the art drawer. Using materials that I would typically associate with my first art making experiences as a child makes the process not as pressured as it would be working on pieces to make money off of or for a client. The Wastepapers: November 2013

Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Air, and Light and Time and Space. I bought a yellow legal pad and just started writing. It's just one page and sketchy, but it's something. That's what have to keep doing everyday to survive creatively and otherwise. I found this fantastic poem by Charles Bukowski a few weeks ago on Brainpickings.org. Air, and Light and Time and Space. 8221;– you know, I’ve either had a family, a job,. Something has always been in the. I’ve sold my house, I’ve found this. While you’re on.

Let me send you letters. Blogging from the Heart. The Art of the Polaroid. How I shoot with my iPhone. Get The Love Letters. Something for the weekend. Oh my dear, sweet, neglected blog. It may seem that there is nothing going on here but behind the scenes. I’m working on two new courses which I am completely obsessed with and excited to share (should be ready to welcome in the autumn). I’ve also been doing last-minute edits on the London book, and can now officially tell you the title:. Thank you for yo...

The Waste Of Ink
The Waste Of Ink. Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Headphones was drawn in August of 2013. It's 21 pages and it takes place in one day. In the winter of 2012 I was pulling myself out of a 6 month Agoraphobia bender. One of my plans to get better was to go to the Pourhouse Cafe and draw for 3 hours everyday. All 50 pages of Blew It were drawn there. I would come up with all the times that I blew it in the last relationship I was in and then draw the scenario. Said all the wrong things. That Boy Girl Feeling.

Friday, 9 May 2008. By Tridib and Alo Mitra. The Books and web pages we have read so far on Allen Ginsberg, the American poet of Beat movement, have one thing in common. They do not bother to examine the impact. Had on his inner self and identity, and the influence we Bengali poets, artists and thinkers of the Hungryalist movement.
