http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Monday, September 18, 2006. I'm tried so I'm not going to say much except read Joel Thomas's post on liberal theology. The list of 22 points about what liberal christians believe is a good one! Posted by CSDL @ 11:40 AM. Links to this post. Sunday, September 17, 2006. Subject: Come support Jesus and babies! Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the US, recently hired a national chaplain, Rev. Dr. Ignacio ...We're...

AntiSocialSocialite: May 2006
http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Friday, May 05, 2006. Two post in 1 day. crazy! Americans have long been driven by two deep longings. The first is to be left alone. The second is to tell other people what to do. On most moral issues abortion, porn, video games, alcohol, tobacco, guns the easiest way out is to inflict our piety on minors. All the righteous satisfaction, none of the libertarian backlash. Great taste, less filling. Amazing, that is all.

AntiSocialSocialite: November 2006
http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Thursday, November 02, 2006. On ethiopian food and abortion and politics. I'm away from home right now attending the biggest conference in my research area, as are most of the people in my research group. It's a fun time, and we are learning a lot and schmoozing with just the right people (or at least we hope so). About worship. It compares contemporary worship (or how contemporary worship should be) to Ethiopian food and t...

AntiSocialSocialite: July 2006
http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Thursday, July 06, 2006. What if you had? While on a long car ride I often have really good conversations either on the phone (if I have no passengers) or with my passengers. Well, my boyfriend and I were on a long car ride to go visit my family for the holiday weekend and we had some really great conversations. One of my favorite things to do is to ask "What if you had ? So, on these lines I pondered "what is my free clinic?

AntiSocialSocialite: February 2006
http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Tuesday, February 14, 2006. When I got to. I was almost immediately approached by a fellow student, who upon noticing that I wore a cross, invited me to be part of a Christian graduate student group. I hesitated, say I don’t really like talking about religion. But she kept pushing me and eventually, I ended the conversation, somewhat red in the face saying Look, can’t we just agree to disagree? AntiSocialSocialite: April 2006
http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Thursday, April 27, 2006. I just got back from "across the pond" for a conference. The conference itself was amazing. There were a very small number of participants making networking a little easier. In particular, I really connected with a corporate guy (from a company I previously worked for) who seemed interested in my research and may offer an opportunity for good collaboration. Why do our advisors insist on this practice?

A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Sunday, March 05, 2006. As mentioned in a previous post, when I arrived at. We’ve got a great group! Bible study nights always make me happy. They remind of why I am still a member of my Church and I haven’t gone searching for a new one. And seeing everyone from the study meld and form a community of faith makes me happy too! Posted by CSDL @ 9:35 PM. Links to this post. View my complete profile. Banker for the Poor.

http://antisocialsocialite.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A foray into the life of CS Grad Student, with a life outside of Grad School. Thursday, August 24, 2006. This morning as I'm having a hard time being motivated to do work so I was killing time reading blogs. Recently I added Bruce Schneier. To my blog roll. Today he posted the text of an article. He had written for Wired Magazine. Posted by CSDL @ 9:44 AM. Links to this post. Friday, August 18, 2006. Dumber then the smartest bear? On Bruce Schneier's* blog. Man, that is an amazing quote! Saturday, July 31, 2010. Thomas's first real RPG. Thomas opened his presents from Matt and I today. Two of them were a set of 6-sided dice and a book to play his very first real RPG. When he's opening presents, he's often unexcited about them. He's too busy thinking about the presents to actually appreciate or enjoy what any one of them actually is. (One reason we had a no-present party this year.). By the afternoon, though, after his (awesome) party at Space Aliens. What if I want 10 spirit? Thomas eage...

Monday, October 11, 2010. New camera and trip to the apple farm. Originally uploaded by kim belcher. For my birthday, Matt got me a Nikon 90. This weekend (a bit early) I tested it out. I took a bunch of pictures of the kids on Friday on a trip to the playground and a Mexican place. Saturday we went out to the apple-and-pumpkin farm and did a corn maze together. I took loads of photos and uploaded some of them to flickr. Check them out! Http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/tideflying/. Cause of the moment.
